For a long time, we have been discussing at home several ideas to improve our "socializing" space in the house. Our house is nice but we really need a specific space to relax and read, and meet with friends, talk with each other, or just ... frankly, take a peaceful quiet nap! This book gave us lots of ideas, which by the way are doable and not that expensive that will go to the list of "we wish we could" that is getting longer and longer every time. If you need fresh ideas, this is definitely the book to get and go over and over again... after a few months... Loved it!

I got some great ideas for my porch project

This book gave us some good ideas regarding enclosing our sunroom.

I'm in the process of designing a three season porch for our house. I expected this book to provide Ideas and it mainly discusses best practices for proper structure etc. The book also claims over 400 pictures and I didn't count, but it's not even close and that's what I wanted more than what type of footings for each type room.

I was accused by someone yesterday of not leaving positive reviews - and - since they were right, I went in to my books to pull out the truly spectacular books that did not make me mad (so I did not leave a review). Sorry, I tend to leave reviews only when my blood boils. This book is spectacular and I recommend it highly to anyone. I look at the book and I see all kinds of papers sticking out to mark the pages I find most important. The book looks like a porcupine.

We are looking to add a 3 seasons room in the future and this book has lots of good how to do and what is needed to do it.
