I really like this rotating bookshelf. It’s compact and space-saving, doesn’t take up much room, but at the same time holds a surprisingly large number of books. We only recently started filling it with books, and there is still plenty of space left. The quality is good overall. It is real wood, the edges are rounded nicely, and the rotating mechanism at the base works smoothly and feels sturdy. The bookshelf feels stable even when filled with books. One thing I personally wanted to change was the direction of the shelves. If assembled according to the instructions, the books would face with the back covers toward us, but I preferred displaying the front covers instead. So right at the beginning of the assembly process, I simply unscrewed the round board with the rotating mechanism, flipped it, centered it again, and screwed it back in place. It was actually very easy to do and only took a few minutes. Now the books face outward, and I like the look much more. It ended up being a very simple adjustment that might be helpful for someone else too. I intentionally ordered the 4-tier version because it was the same price as the 3-tier one, but for now I only installed 3 levels. My daughter can comfortably reach them at her current height, and we can always add the fourth level later once we fill it up with more books 😄 I also noticed many reviews mentioning that the top board is not completely smooth and has visible grooves. The set even includes a small cloth cover for the top surface. Personally, this didn’t bother me at all - I simply placed some of my daughter’s educational toys on top, and it ended up looking great. Overall, this is a very functional, versatile and well-designed bookshelf with excellent storage capacity and great value for money.

This is remarkable well made. Yes, it's simple pine and not fancy wood, but all the notches and holes were precision cut and it went together like a large Lego kit. I put it together in 15 minutes with only the included Allen hex wrench. It was completely intuitive and cleverly designed to prevent you from making mistakes. Everything goes together with tabs and notches, then you use the screws to hold them firm. The turntable function works even when loaded. The book capacity is surprisingly, though very large hardbacks don't fit well. I use it in my sunroom to hold all my bird guides and current reading materials. It's the two tier, and it makes a nice little side table between two recliners. A little high, but convenient enough. One con: the top has exposed screws and they include a heavy paper doily to cover it that I disliked. I found that a 17" cork pad meant to go under plant pots makes the perfect topper. It looks good and eliminates any need for coasters under your mug. The cork goes well with the natural pine.

This actually works great for most sizes of children's books, and so far seems pretty sturdy. I was worried it might be a tipping hazard for my toddler before I bought it, but after 1 month of use I am not still concerned. (We put heavier books on the bottom and lightweight DVDs / stuffed animals on the top). If I was really paranoid I might have left off the top shelf, to make it 25% shorter, ( I think they sell a shorter one, too) but so far the 4-shelf version seems to handle daily usage in the nursery just fine. The wood shelves are secured with hex-head wood-screws , tools and gloves are included, and installation went fine except for one very minor crack while tightening one upper side-piece. Overall, tolerances and design seem pretty good for an affordable flat-packed spinning shelf. My kid likes turning it and picking out books to read at bedtime. This books handles ~90% of kids books just fine (Tall ones, short ones, big ones, small ones) However, there is one book shape that it is not good for: Some kids books (like "P is for Pterodactyl) have short heights and really long page-widths. ( approx ~8.5" H x11.25W) . For these books you probably should use a different shelf, because they will stick out too far and fall off easily unless rotated vertically. But again, this issue affects is less than 10% of our kid's books. The good news that it handles even fairly large format books quite well, eg, "Daullieres' Book of Greek Myths" fits fine once the shelf is filled.

This is a really cool bookshelf. I love that it spins. The wood is made of pine boards but it's a light wood. The wood is unfinished so you could stain it. It was pretty simple to assemble. My only concern is the layers are not drilled together so they can come apart. I plan to use this bookcase in my classroom so it worries me a little with the kids.

This was easy to put together and it works well. Great height to double as an end table and holds a surprising number of books. Even the little thing for the top of the shelf is cute.

Nice product that has lasted the past 3 years and is doing strong. The spin feature is nice and I built it in a way to alternate the facings of the books to create more interest. Great for kids books and fits nicely in a corner

This was simple to put together and super functional for next to my son’s bed. We read a ton of books at night so it keeps his room tidy. The down side are the screws on the top. Otherwise I love it!

Holds a ton of books and it is very sturdy for my toddler to use on his own!

Acquisto più che azzeccato! Nonostante abbia solo 3 ripiani, la capacità è ottima, ci stanno davvero un sacco di libri. Comprata per la cameretta di mia figlia, è davvero bella esteticamente e occupa pochissimo spazio. Inizialmente ho avuto qualche difficoltà con l'avvio del montaggio, ma con un po' di intuito e manualità è stato facile terminare. I pezzi si incastrano perfettamente e le guide dei fori per le viti combaciano tutti al millimetro. Davvero un ottimo acquisto!

The wood broke when trying to put the shelf together ( as IKEA piece of furniture) so we could only do one “storage”. Not very nice liking with the screws showing. I do not recommend this product.

Ho montato in quattro e quattr’otto questa libreria bella e con un ottimo rapporto prezzo qualità. L’unico neo è la mancanza di verniciatura che, a lungo andare, potrebbe far annerire e sporcare il legno.
