It would be a good product, but the way the watch is stored within its product packet means that the strap end with the buckle on it is over-bent, and the other strap is too flat which means that the face doesn't sit flush on your wrist. This results in poor contact with your wrist and thus negates the usefulness of the HR sensor. I really wanted to like this product so I could take my Blaze into rougher environments and know it was protected, but unfortunately it was let down by the way it was stuffed into the product packet.

Edited: thanks for sending me a 2nd strap as I wasn't happy with the first and left my review accordingly. I have added a star to reflect this good will.I am still not 100% happy but think my 1st review was a bit harsh. I have added a photo to air my concerns with this strap. As you can see the angle the strap comes off of the top of the mount is different from the angle at the bottom. Not a major issue I know but for me it makes the strap move and rotate around the wrist and sit oddly. I will persevere with it this time as it does give good protection and as an engineer in a heavy machinery workshop prefer it to ruining the original strap.

It makes the watch much larger but does give you the reassurance that it is better protected than the normal strap. It doesn't bother me when I wear it in bed, which was a concern given the size. It does struggle to accommodate the glass screen protector though. All in all I would recomend.

It is a bit clunky and for me gets caught on things like coat and shirt sleeves knapsacks etc. I found that the strap caught on something and the watch unit actually fell out. Perhaps best to go for a simple strap replacement rather the the whole frame (luckily I ordered both).

I really like this. It fits my wrist well and the frame fits the blaze snugly. The smooth raised edges on the frame would appear to offer protection from knocks etc. I will still be adding a screen protector though. This will be my Hill walking outdoor activity strap!

I brought this item about a month ago and already the rubber catch that holds the strap has snapped and is holding on for dear life.. but disappointed as overall the product is good just not great quality due to its breaking after such a short usage time
