I love this camera! It works perfect and love that it’s not WiFi based so it’s easy to take on trips if needed. My monitor just recently started to not work after having for a year but customer service was amazing in helping me resolve the issue.

I really like that the camera and monitor work via radio frequency, without the need for WiFi or an app. This makes it very simple to use with minimal setup, though you don’t get remote monitoring. It operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency with FHSS (Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum), which is supposed to prevent interference. So far, I haven't had any issues using it to monitor my kids at home so it works. The two-way mic is also very loud and clear. It’s very easy to control the camera tilt and pan via the monitor, and the camera has a good range of motion. It came with mounting hardware if you want to permanently attach it to a surface, but placing it on my cupboard worked well for my needs. There’s also a tripod screw hole on the bottom if you prefer to mount it on a tripod. As for the monitor, I’ve seen some with better video quality, but for monitoring your baby or kids, the 720p resolution on the 5-inch screen is more than sufficient. The night vision is decent, though I mainly use it during the day, so that feature isn't a big deal for me. I also appreciate the extra features like temperature monitoring, feeding reminders, and lullabies. The monitor also comes with a built-in battery and can be used wirelessly. Overall, the baby monitor from OKAIDI is an excellent product that provides reliable safety monitoring and ease of use. The strong two-way mic and the fact that it operates without WiFi are major advantages. What I appreciate most is the convenience of using the monitor wirelessly.

This wifi is good because it only connects to its monitor and has no access to the internet so it cant be hacked. It has good quallity picture and audio. it has two way communitcation built in as well as built in lullaby music . the camera can be controlled using the monitor. it can pan tilt and zoom. The screen and camera, both are a good size to travel with. i wished it included a travel bag. everything else about it is great

Like others have said, you don't need an app to use this monitor. It's pretty much plug and play. We are using the monitor as two-way communication for my 90-year-old mother, who just had surgery (she's fine). The monitor can be disconnected from the power cord and is portable, which is nice because it doesn't require that the caregiver stay in one place, she can take it with her. The built-in battery is more than capable of powering the unit for many hours, which gives her good flexibility in going to other parts of the property without worrying that she won't be monitoring my mom. As far as I can tell, there's no volume control for the lens unit and sometimes it's hard for my mom to hear the caregiver. The caregiver also enabled the lullaby feature by mistake, driving everyone nuts for a while. All-in-all it's a nice unit, with a small learning curve.
