Watch seems to be of good quality keeps good time was able to get day set right but not date .Had orderd Classic Black and got a silver one sent to me Wish I had got the classic black like i orderd But other wise its a nice pocket watch

No instructions for day and date settings. Help.

I'll admit it: setting this watch was a challenge, especially the day/date function. It took more patience than I typically have with devices, but I like having a pocket watch and, to be honest, I broke my wind-up one by winding it too much. This one is holding time very well. Now that I have found the sweet spot for adjusting day/date, that's gone smoothly. It looks classy, or perhaps pretentious, but it's nice to make "checking the time" a bit more difficult than constantly glancing at my wrist.

This pocket watch is decent for me. The size is true to historical proportions, and it keeps time nicely. I got this because I am a watch person and wanted to know how it felt to carry one on the daily and it has felt nice. The chain is decent in quality and length. The case opens nicely when the button on top is pressed though it would be nice to have an indicator which is the main side, so I know it opens towards me without it being a guessing game. Obviously, this is a quartz watch, so there is no concern about winding, just know when to change the battery. I know that others here have said that adjusting the time and particularly the date has been a real pain for them. I did not have that experience at all. Personally, it was very easy and simple to do so. All it requires is being gentle, like you would be with any watch really. Moving it up one gear allows for setting of the time and date and moving it up two to set the time. The issue may exist in a different variation of watch you buy so that might explain it. I got the smooth black version for reference, and it has been great with no issues with adjustment. Overall, if you are thinking about getting pocket watches, this is a good starter one to get yourself into the habit. It’s simple to operate, little to no maintenance required and has a nice feel. Be gentle with it and it works fine. Overall, I recommend this.

Easy to close and open. Setting the time is also easy. Not too heavy either.

I wear a watch on my wrist most of the time, but there are times when that is not possible depending on what I am doing, so having a pocket watch is a nice alternative to be able to check the time without having to look at the phone either. My phone is not always with reach, so this makes it nice for being able to check the time when I can't look at my phone, during meetings the phone must be turned off so it's nice to just look at a watch and not depend on the phone. Great product well built, quality mechanical workings and just all around a great value.

This is a really handsome watch that most men would love to own. (And maybe some women, too!) It's got a nice black metal finish on the outside, and a simple, classic face. It doesn't do anything but tell you the time, and that's all you need. A great gift for Father's Day, birthday, graduation, etc. Good value for the price.
