Probably the first question someone might ask about this alarm clock after reading the advertising for it is, is it definitely okay for UK use, and the answer is yes, absolutely, as it comes with a standard three-pin UK mains plug so doesn’t need an adapter to convert it to our power supply. Indeed, for the UK it works straight out of the box so forget what’s stated about it being ‘AC 120V electric powered’ and not to use it with 240V, as providing it’s the UK version that’s sent this is definitely not the case and it will work fine with 240V. Other than that it’s a nice big easy to use and easy to set up alarm clock that has a display that’s large enough to easily see across a standard-sized bedroom (and probably larger). In fact, it’s large enough to see without possibly needing to put on glasses first (depending upon one’s eyesight, of course) so enables a quick glance without unduly waking up and fumbling with spectacles. That the display is dimmable is a nice touch so that it isn’t glaring in an otherwise dark room. One thing to keep in mind if planning to switch over to the twenty-four hour function is to wait until the time display is past noon to do so else it may appear that the Time Set button isn’t working as the twenty-four hour display and the twelve hour display are the same before then, with only the two being differentiated after that (with the standard twenty-four hour format showing for the former and the ‘pm’ indicator for the latter). In operation the clock works a treat. The alarm has two loudness settings and both are very clearly audible, with the higher setting being particularly loud, pervasive and difficult to ignore. It’s the type of alarm that tends to wake one up with a jolt, which is okay and well does the job, but it would be nice if it was a gradually-increasing alarm instead rather than having the full volume straight away, but as it is at the moment there’s no denying it definitely wakes one up. As a clock for anyone who values simplicity or for anyone who needs a larger display (even other than a bedroom) it’s great. In fact, all I really want in a clock is to be able to tell the time and to quickly and easily set an alarm, and this clock suffices in every way so I have no complaints.

I hate getting up im the morning and always snoozing my phone until the last minute so I thought I would invest in an alarm clock. After having a search and reading the reviews it sounded perfect. It arrived promptly with prime. Packaged in box with a simple design and its key features on the back.The clock itself is also a basic design I brought the black one, its small,rectangular and doesnt take up much space, light and appears to be well made. The instructions are clear so it was easy to set the time & the alarm. It has a separate red button to press to turn alarm on/off, a red light shows on the bottom right when on. It’s a 12 hour am/pm with a red light showing in the top left corner when it’s pm. it’s mains powered with a battery backup option too (takes 2xaaa) The alarm is a buzzer sound and is loud enough to wake me up it also has an option to make quieter if required. There’s a large white snooze button across the top centre this is also a night light which I think is a great addition to it as you can use this and not disturb your partner by turning on a main light. This is also good if you have a child who doesn't like the dark and still makes toilets trips in the night!On either side are stop buttons, which you use as hr/min buttons when setting the time. The display is nice and big making it easy to see should you wake up in the night this also would be benificial for a visually impaired person. Again if using for a child the digital display will aid your child to learn to tell the time. The slider can also reduce the brightness if it's too bright for you. Also comes with a one year warrenty and customer support contact details should you encounter any problems. I highly recommend this for all ages/abilities and my children keep asking if they can have one of their own!

I bought this LED Alarm Clock to replace a bedside lamp and a small digital clock. The 12 x 5cm display with large red digits is awesome, and so is the ‘display dimmer’ switch which enables me to adjust the level of brightness. When following the instructions, I found that setting the time was simple. The functions are very clear and would suit someone with poor eyesight. The clock can use 2x AAA batteries as a backup in case of a sudden power outage. However, as its long stiff cable cannot be disconnected, it could be a little awkward in a restricted space. One of my favourite features is the long ‘snooze/light’ button on top of the clock; it is very responsive. After a while, I found the light to be too strong for my sensitive eyes and it was unable to replace my bedside lamp. Although the adjustable alarm volume was always set on low, my ‘very deep sleeping’ husband started to complain that it woke him up!

Basic no frills alarm clock. Large face with an excellent dimmer feature. Very easy set up and operation. It has an upright which is easy to switch on if you need to get up in the night without disturbing your partner. I am absolutely delighted with this alarm clock and thoroughly recommend it.

Fabulous clock, easy to set up, has a nice light on top if you need to see something in the dark. Nice and sleek. Oblong in shape that sits neatly on the bedside cabinet. So far has kept excellent time. Has a proper lead and plug...not a mobile phone lead. Clear number display that can be dimmed to suit the individual for night time viewing. Also the alarm can be set to sound loud or quiet. It has Everything. Already have a radio, so did not want another..I wanted a no nonsense plug in clock...Got One at a Nice Price, also has One Year Warrenty

I purchased the HOME LED Digital Alarm Clock almost 2 years ago and I am extremely happy with my purchase. This alarm clock is perfect for those who are looking for a no-frills, simple operation clock that gets the job done. I needed an alarm clock for my daughter during the week for college and me for weekends when I looked on amazon there was so much choice and varied price range.I ended up choosing this clock after reading through the descriptions and reviews of around 5clocks (I know lot of research for alarm but wanted something to wake sleeping beauty daughter) This model was mid price range not cheapest but at a price that I thought reasonable for a quality alarm clock.I chose this model for a few reasons the variable volume of the alarm volume was a definite plus I’m light sleeper but daughter definitely DEEP sleeper also had dimmer for brightness on led numbers on clock ,again a plus for me as light sleeper and third plus for me was the night light across top of clock that simply clicks on and off.Iv had the clock approximately a month now and I made a very good choice it’s like having two clocks during the week I have brightness and volume high.The brightness on numbers doesn’t affect her sleep but she says great to see through her bleary eyes if she wakes during night or when she wakes on morning and she uses the night light as a morning light until her eyes adjust and she can turn main light on lol 😂 and the alarm when they say loud they mean loud it wakes my daughter which is no easy task.I think the adjustable brightness and volume could also be good for an older person (or me in few years) if having problems with hearing or sight.Anyway Friday night comes into my room to wake me for early morning Saturday and Sunday.I turn the brightness down and volume down as I’m a very light sleeper and bright led light would disturb my sleep and the volume I turn down simply because I don’t need so loud and why risk disturb anyone else on their days off.The best function for me has been the night light,I have trouble sleeping and like to sit and read to help me get to sleep and it used to drive my partner mad the bright lamp glaring round room stopping him been able to fall asleep but the night light is bright enough for me to read without been too bright and disturbing him it’s win/win.Im very happy with my choice and glad I did a little research rather than just rush to buy any.I tend to shy away from ultra cheap electronics ( I may be miss amazing bargains but I just can’t get over hurdle) but the price of this clock is very reasonable and after using in my home for over month I would say it’s very good value get a lot of clock for your pounds 😊

Bought for an elderly friend & they are very happy with this alarm clock. Clear instructions make it easy to set and turn off the alarm & it has an easy to read large clock face. It sits neatly on the bedside table and the brightness of the display can easily be altered.

Assez fortement myope (-5), j'apprécie de ne plus avoir à chercher mes lunettes ou attraper le réveil pour connaître l'heure quand je me réveille. La veilleuse est pratique si on veut chercher quelque chose sans réveiller son compagnon de lit ou si on a un jeune enfant qui aime s'incruster avec papa maman en cas de cauchemar :-) Il y a assez peu de boutons, donc facile à régler, même sans la notice (cependant celle ci est fournie,en français (et bien traduite, ce n'est pas toujours le cas!)) Le bouton variateur permet de régler l'intensité de l'affichage pour ceux qui n'arrivent pas à dormir avec une lumière forte. L'alarme est un bip pas forcément agréable (mais du coup, il réveille bien!), avec deux niveaux d'intensité. On peut mettre 2 piles AAA en cas de panne de courant. Dans ce cas, l'affichage s'éteint mais on peut quand même l'avoir en appuyant sur le bouton du dessus. Le réveil est fourni avec adaptateur UK, pratique pour voyager. Je regrette juste que l'affichage soit en format 12h (avec un point pour signifier l'après midi) et non 24h, mais ce n'est pas bien grave. En conclusion, un réveil au design très classique, qui est très pratique pour les porteurs de lunettes ! :-)

Estaba buscando un despertador cuya alarma suene fuerte durante más de un minuto, que es la media de los despertadores digitales, esta suena fuerte durante 5 minutos seguidos si no la paras. Gracias a este despertador, el móvil va a ser desterrado del dormitorio, como quería. Mencionar además: Es muy fácil de usar y configurar, se ve muy bien, los leds son regulables, en la máxima potencia son brillantes y con un tono rojo muy agradable para mí. Tiene una luz auxiliar muy útil para no estar a oscuras completamente, insuficiente para leer pero suficiente para otras cosas. Si se va la luz (en mi zona ocurre de vez en cuando), la alarma se mantiene si le cargas de pilas. Única pega, importante, el engorroso cable, necesita estar conectado a la corriente eléctrica.

If you are looking for a simple alarm clock that gets the job done, look no further! I can confidently say that this is one of the best products I have purchased off of Amazon. The alarm clock is very easy to use, and features a very simple button layout. To set the time all you need to do is hold the time set button and use the two large buttons on either side of the snooze button to set the hour and minute, with a small light on the display indicating AM or PM. The process of setting the alarm is just as easy, only with a different button. The display is huge and can be read from across the room, which is a great feature. You can also precisely set the brightness of the display with a slider on the back, however, at low brightness levels the LCD gets a bit splotchy. There are also some gaps in the LCD that can be seen at a sharp angle, but for the price that is to be expected. I am a pretty heavy sleeper, and while the alarm on my phone may wake me up, it doesn't wake me up enough for me to want to get out of bed. This alarm clock, however, is very loud. There are two speakers on either side of the display that blast ear piercing alarm noises for five minutes to ensure you wake up. The snooze button on the top is very large so if you really need the extra sleep you can pause the alarm very quickly. If you don't need such a loud alarm clock you have the option to change the volume level with a switch on the back. The snooze button also doubles as a light when the alarm isn't sounding, which is really useful for finding things late at night. It isn't bright enough to illuminate your entire room but it does a decent job. The only shortcoming this alarm clock has is the lack of a radio, but I don't think anyone ever uses the radio on their alarm clock. Overall, this is an awesome alarm clock that does a fantastic job without all the bells and whistles of a more expensive alarm clock. The large display and nightlight are also big bonuses.

This clock has a nice mix of features which make it a neat little device to have! It was also very easy to set-up and easy to use ( I did not even need to read the manual that comes together with the clock). My favourite features are: 1) It is very light, compact and portable. It can connect to the power outlet but also has a battery back up option (requires 2 AAA batteries) incase power is not available, making it perfect for travel amd for use in countries where power supply is not very stable. 2) The clock displays nice big red digits which make it very visible from a distance and quite beneficial for people with poor eyesight. 3) The clock display is dimmable. This is very useful for night time. 4) The night light option comes in very handy. I have a new baby and have to wake up several times at night to feed, and this light is just perfect with the right intensity, and can be switched on with just a tap. 5) Ofcourse the Alarm and Snooze options are also perfect. I can sleep through the alarms on my phone but this one is annoying enough to wake me up ;-). The volume of the alarm is also adjustable. 6) The clock also comes with a power adapter (two pin can be converted to 3 pin), which is very convenient for travel/use in countries that use them. I can also attest to its robustness. My 2-year old pulled on the cable when it was at a height of 2 meters and dropped it to the floor and nothing broke. Certainly the perfect clock to have when you have little children around who could potentially drop it or mishandle it in some ways. My dad says an additional radio feature would have been nice, but for me this feature was not so necessary so I do not miss it. But certainly something to consider for people specifically also looking for this function. All in all, the price was also very reasonable. I like it a lot and would definitely recommend this product and would buy it again if need-be.

I have been using the clock for around a month now. I am satisfied with it so far. I was able to set it up easily. The display size is good, I can clearly see it from any angle in my room. The display brightness setting is not confined to 2 settings (high/low) - one can set to a value across a range using a slider. You just need to bear in mind that it uses 110V so you'll need to get a good quality adapter and preferably connect it to a UPS. On one occasion when the UPS died out during a power cut, the clock retained the time via its batteries as expected. Previously I was using a Sharp clock which immediately started giving problems. The Travelwey clock by contrast is functioning decently so far. Hoping it will be a long-lasting product, let us see. But Travelwey/sellers can consider ways to reduce the price (without sacrificing quality of course). If this is cheaper, more customers may buy it.
