We actually use this as our garbage can. Our Tweens needed an easier can to get the trash in and out of on a daily basis. We are also space challenged so we needed something slim. As you can see it falls just below the door knob of our pantry kitchen door, so its tall. It has not knocked over yet and we slide it all over our kitchen. It is very sturdy and looks well made. I purchased a garbage can rubber band for the days when I have the drawstring 30 gal bags but usually its not needed and in this picture the kids forgot to pit it back in place. Normally I get standard tie bags, 30 or 33 gal. The photo shows it along side a standard 13 gal kitchen can which is way too small for our family. I purchased the blue instead of the green because it was cheaper and exactly the same as the green bin. I just turn the can toward the wall when guests come so they dont get confused. The recycling logo is only on one side. The only down side it that is comes in a huge box. We reused the box but would have been fine with it in a plastic bag. I only say this because I am starting to feel guilty with all the amazon carboard I have been receiving lately. Well I know I have boxes for all my Hanukak gifts this year. Great purchase and I would recommend for any high traffic use situation.

We usually have a lot of recycling but we only have a narrow space for the bin inside. This fits perfectly and holds a lot! I also appreciate the construction, the bin is very sturdy, the handles are smooth and easy to hold, and there is an indentation on the base to help when tipping the bin out. (Since we tip this into an outdoor bin every week, that makes a big difference!) Having a dedicated bin indoors makes recycling easy. There are some unavoidable compromises for having such a tall bin. It can get a little top heavy and it can be difficult to reach all the way into the bin to clean the bottom. Since we use this bin indoors on a level floor the top heaviness isn't a problem. I also keep a piece of waste cardboard on the bottom of the bin to catch any drips, so I don't have to reach down to the bottom. If we had more space or kept the bin outdoors then maybe we would want a different bin, but for the space we have, this is great.

Bought this for my recyclables just inside my garage door. Large enough that we only have to empty it about twice a week into our large curbside pickup can. Very sturdy and high quality, with the color coordinated blue with recycling clearly labeled on the side of the can. It comes I. A variety of colors and the slim design makes it nice to line up right inside my garage my my back door. I will be purchasing another (in another color) for my glass recycling. Highly recommend this product.

High Quality Product that is reasonably priced, and 30% Less Expensive than the Identical Rubbermaid Garbage Pail. I would have given it 5 Stars but it came very scratched. It appears someone used it and then returned the Pail. Not a big deal since it is a Garbage Pail --- not Jewelry. The Manufacturer should have given me a Partial Amazon Credit on a future order for this damage ---- isn't that how America Used To Be ! ! Overall it is a good Pail, and much better priced than the Exact Item From Rubbermaid. Life Goes On . . . .

All around perfect recycle bin. We use it without bags because here we can't recycle plastic bags abd it's perfect. Makes it easy with the handles to take it out to the big bin outside. Fits in the corner where it's out of view but fits a lot if stuff. Recycble stuff tends to be big and bulky like boxes and stuff and this fits the bill. So glad I found it. Large but slim, exactly what I needed for my space.

When I bought this fairly inexpensive can instead of the Rubbermaid brand, I was expecting a step down in quality. Instead, what showed up were USA-made cans of a very thick, tough, rubbery, shiny plastic. It cleans up easily, and seems to be pretty much indestructible. It's nothing like the thin plastic I'm used to in thin garbage cans, which will puncture, crease, and break. There is a nice bag-catch feature if you want to line them, and the size is perfect for setting several in a row for different types of recycling. These are a great bargain.
