I’m in my mid 50’s now and for almost 30 years i was using Listerine Daily. When I was 23 a woman was leaving the dentist’s office and I was sitting in the waiting room. She walked over to me and said, I wish I knew at your age what I’m just learning now, I should have been using Listerine all these years, now all my teeth are decaying and falling out and dentist said because I wasn’t using Listerine. Holy crap I was frightened! i asked the dentist while sitting in his chair and he agreed, said I should start using Listerine. Well here I am where that lady was 30 years later and while my teeth are okay, my gut is not. I’ve Always had a healthy lifestyle since I was a kid, same weight for 40+ years, worked out, ate right; 12 years ago went organic, 10 years ago gluten free. 5 years ago I developed acid reflux and suffered and didn’t know what was going on. I started to notice a little ‘tanning’ on certain teeth up at the gum-line despite my daily flossing. I’ve had 2 EGD’s, had the Bravo study and had a tube shoved down my nose again and again and again while I was awake, sipping water- that was hellish. They all said I did not have acid reflux and I couldn’t understand it. Then I read somewhere how horrible Listerine is for your mouth and gut biome. I immediately searched for an alternative. I’ve purchased many different natural mouth rinses to try to replace the Listerine. I used to do coconut oil pulls for Years, but not daily. Then I stumbled upon this mouth rinse and this toothpaste. I love the texture and taste of the paste. I read on the website how it can be used as a mouth rinse so I tried it one day and holy cow, it works!! Since I’ve gotten rid of the Listerine and started using this as a replacement to rid the morning breath (2 tubes ago) the daily mouth dryness and bad breath I’ve been suffering from for years (started while using Listerine) is GONE. I brushed already and now I am rinsing right now before getting my day started and I know I won’t have to worry about a weird, pasty dry mouth all day, or bad breath. Also, the acid reflux is almost fully Gone. All these years of trying to heal my leaky gut with food and vitamins, this was the missing link. Listerine was killing my gut and Simply Silver is helping to restore it. I really appreciate your hard work in developing it, it’s a wonderful product! I’ve tried telling friends and family but it seems most people do not like change even when they are suffering with different ailments. But I will continue to shout my Good News about this product, thank you! One thing, tho: First tube I received became unraveled at the edge. I was still able to use the whole tube of product, but I couldn’t ‘use’ the tube itself. I read another review how you had this formula in a jar, I think that might be easier to use. I did take some of this and put it into little containers for ease while traveling. I have also purchased two bottles of the Simply Silver mouthwash and while I liked it, I am getting Much better results from using the toothpaste as an oil pull for my ‘mouth rinsing’ needs.

Love it! If you haven't used toothpaste with coconut oil before, it might take some adjustment (such as remembering to squish the tube to mix it a little before using)), and the firmer consistency). The flavor is mild and pleasant (SO much better than other pastes), and I trust the ingredients.

So I heard about this product from my dental hygienist and since I am always looking for new and improved ways to keep my dental hygiene interesting without the use of poisons (fluoride), I wanted to try this one. I am familiar with the ingredients for having antibacterial properties (colloidal silver and coconut oil for example) so choosing it was a no-brainer. The PROS: does not leave a bad taste in your mouth, definitely helps with tooth sensitivity and does not cause it, it's already helping a part of my gum which was slightly red when I went in for my regular cleaning as it has de-swelled and looks pink again. The CONS: Not really excited about the MINT taste but I can live with it, the benefits outweight the taste. The biggest CON is- I feel like I need to use more than the "Pea Size" that is recommended on the label in order to address my entire mouth. I spend a good amount of time brushing my teeth and this is not your typical tooth "paste" consistency....it is definitely "paste-y" but because it is in a coconut oil base, it melts in your mouth quickly and turns into somewhat of a liquid-minty-sludgey substance and by the time I get to the last of my teeth there is really nothing left on the toothbrush, and I really feel like I need to add more to it. So just beware of that - but it's definitely worth a try. I have not used this long enough to determine if my teeth are any whiter but I did not buy it for that reason either. My aim is to have cleaner teeth when I go in to my next cleaning appointment. Update to follow.

Both my wife and I love this toothpaste so much!! The ingredients are better than any other found at retail stores for sure. I wanted to check with my own dentist on the ingredients at my last visit and he was amazed and knew how great the ingredients were. My dentist had been asking what I was doing differently because my teeth and gums were so much better than a year ago. I will continue to buy this product and some of the other they sell too, I am sure they are great too.

My dentist recommended getting a toothpaste with Nano Hydroxyapatite in it to help remineralize my teeth. Had a great experience with the Simply Silver mouthwash and was looking for a toothpaste that was vegan and had all natural ingredients so I tried this out. Its met all my expectations for the toothpaste and I'm happy with the results (this is my second tube). One thing to watch out for though. Because its all natural and a little oily due to the coconut oil, if you just lay it on its side while its open, the contents will drain out. So keep it upright when the cap is off and there's no issue.
