My final test, on any perfume, is my husband. if I get a kiss it’s a buy again if he just says you smell nice it’s a maybe, but if he says what’s that smell it’s a never buy again and donate the bottle. His response was, you smell nice. I do like the scent it’s something I will wear once in awhile but there’s a harshness about it coupled with a very beautiful scent underneath. Even discounted it’s not cheap coupled with it being of the temporary scent generation of perfumes I probably won’t buy that much of it. It used to be perfumes were made with an oil base and lasted for days now if it lasts through an 8 hour work day your lucky. I like the scent but I’m not in love with it. Like all current perfumes the scent doesn’t last. I wish they would make perfumes like the old days where the scent lasted until washed off but they prefer to make it temporary and there by selling more.

This is hands-down the most disappointing fragrance purchase I’ve ever made. The scent smells old, flat, and possibly expired — absolutely nothing like authentic Tom Ford Black Orchid. There’s no depth, no richness, no signature darkness. It smells tired and diluted, as if it has completely gone bad. Longevity? Zero. Projection? Zero. Fixation? Non-existent. It disappears within minutes — not hours, not even 30 minutes. Truly impressive how something at this price point can perform this poorly. I honestly don’t know how this product is being sold at full price. If this is genuine, the batch is clearly compromised. If it’s not, that explains everything. Save your money. This is not Black Orchid — it’s a shadow of what it’s supposed to be.
