I was a little skeptical ordering crochet hair from Amazon for the first time because I usually buy my hair in person, but I'm honestly so happy with this purchase. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I normally don’t leave reviews, but since I’ve used this product so many times and I love it! I thought I’d leave one. I absolutely love this hair! I purchased it around seven or eight times! It looks gorgeous! I put moose and a little bit of a light oil on it to give it shine and whenever I want to bring it back to life! It comes with 9 packs. I usually use 6 1/2 packs. I do like it full, but I also have a small head. I use the remaining hair when I want to refresh the look. I take out the hair that looks frizzy and put new hair in. I put some more moose on it and it looks like I just freshly did my hair! I wear this style for a month before I take it down and it still looks good when I take it down. I only take it down so that I can wash and condition my hair. The price is great for amount of hair that you get and the style looks good for a long time! I also can wear it in many styles, I can wear down, in a ponytail in the back, half up half down, or with a swoop! If you’re thinking about buying this hair, girl go ahead and do it! You get a lot for your money and you’ll get lots of compliments. Several people have asked me to send them the link to this hair even people that I don’t know want a screenshot. This is definitely my go to style. The install is very fast. It takes me 1 1/2 hours to install it after I braid it.

Overall, I really like these crochet braids. The hair is lightweight, good quality, and very easy to install. The braids look nice once installed and don’t feel heavy on my head, which I really appreciate. They also hold their style well and give a neat, natural look. My only critique is the chemicals used on the hair during manufacturing. After about a week of wearing them, my scalp became very inflamed and irritated. I ended up having to soak my braids and scalp with an apple cider vinegar and baking soda rinse, and then applied aloe vera to calm my scalp. After doing that, the irritation improved. Because of that experience, I would definitely recommend soaking the hair in an apple cider vinegar rinse before installing to remove the chemicals. Despite that issue, I would still purchase these again because the braids themselves are beautiful, lightweight, and easy to work with. Just make sure to prep the hair first if you have a sensitive scalp.

The hair look very pretty when it came, but after a few days, it started to just come apart and and knot. It also felt pretty itchy. Not for me.
