This is very nice and adjustable to the size of your pie plate. It protects the crust from becoming overcooked. It's easy to wash and clean. This was a gift for my friend. I gave her the "Country Pie Book with it.

Great but can be a bit tricky to use. It took a couple of tries to get it just right, but then it was very effective

I know this crust shield was designed for pies, but I was looking for a crust shield that would work for the large Banquet pot pies. I had been using aluminum foil to protect the crusts which was a total pain to cut the foil into thin strips that would fit around the pies. These crust shields worked with a bit of modification, and the modified size worked great. The flexibility of the shield could be fit around the pot pies. I had to cut notches into the strips to fit the pot pies and cut of the excess. The modified strips protected the crusts of the pot pies and were sturdy enough to stay on. All considered, I am happy with the weight of these crust protectors and will be using them for our pot pies instead of slim strips of aluminum foil to protect the crust of pot pies. i love this thing! I make pies often and previously used a metal protector. Metal ones are not adjustable and just don't really work for different size things. This one is silicone so it's easy to clean, can be handled immediately, and adjustable! Some comments say that it doesn't stay together, but I have not had that experience. it works perfectly

They are a little awkward to use but they work

I use this every time I make a pie or a quiche. It is adjustable and after the first use I know exactly what size I need and it is so easy to drop it onto the pie plate after cooking for about 20-30 minutes.

I liked that the product was adjustable and only one piece. It worked like it was supposed to. No burned edges on my Apple pie. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who bakes pies.

It does it's job but the design isn't great. When it is hot it is difficult to adjust the shield if needed or to take off.

This is a great purchase deserves 5 stars, my pie crusts always over browned in the oven, but this has solved the problem. I would recommend this to any one who makes pastries and pies.

Aparentemente es de silicón de buena calidad, pero lo usé por primera vez y saqué el pay del horno para darle vuelta, el protector se movió, estaba caliente y al tratar de acomodarlo se rompió. Es una idea excelente pero no gasten su dinero.
