Powerful, steady, strong, easy to use, safe and more efficient and reliable than the old one Just the cup maybe smaller than the old version but I really like it

+ Very powerful + Works great while it does.. - Seal in the blade broke and started releasing black grease after exactly 2 years of almost daily use. - Ninja does not sell these parts on their official account in Canada (only on the US site which doesn't ship to Canada). so we will have to buy some third party replacement part and hope they are good.. but those reviews don't look good at all... - Noisy but that's because it's powerful and so small.

Extremely powerful product. It makes my smoothies in 15 seconds and they contain lots of frozen berries, large frozen strawberries and a frozen banana. Wow, I love it!

This thing crushes and blends frozen fruit/veg/ice like a champ! I highly recommend this for smoothie lovers. This thing is as loud as it gets. Jet engine loud lol. Depending on if your blending frozen stuff or fresh, sometimes louder. This isn't really an issue for us, I know most blenders are pretty noisy- but this may not be the best if say, you have to be mindful of the noise (babies/early morning sleepers/graveyards etc). The cons: there is a rubber gasket buried deep within the lid. You might think you're getting it clean enough when you wash, but you aren't. I purchased a rubber gasket/pick replacement kit (sort of like a dental pick)- the pick will pull the gasket out for cleaning. Used the blender daily for 3 days before I went and read the reviews....looking for info.....I'm a clean freak and worried about the bits that may be getting stuck under there. Sure enough, pulled the rubber ring out and it was pretty gross. I don't over fill the cups, but there was still food debris. Buy a kit (2 pack gasket rubber seal o ring and pick stick- be sure the model # is compatible)- you'll thank me later. The other con is lids seem to glue shut, and are hard to twist off. So, soaking is a must if you leave your cup for a while in the sink. I ALSO recommend a set of different size straw brushes, to scrub the blade attachment and sides. I'm currently looking at a set of replacement cups as well, as 4 of us use this regularly.
