I’m a water fiend, & instead of getting hangry i get thangry if my body even hints at dehydration. so I’ve got something of a water bottle collection and very particular aquired tastes. But this bottle is my favorite by far, & i wish they made larger capacities for us super water drinkers. or even just universal lids/mouthpieces we can use on many different bottles, because that is what sets this bottle apart from the rest. Most bottles are either open-mouthed OR straw mouthpieces, one or the other. You can swap one out for the other, but the real problem is (if you’re like me and prefer straws) the straw never gets the little bit of water at the bottom. Minor first world problem for sure, but now that I have seen better, it’s hard to go back to the ‘before times’ bottles. The fact I can get every last drop with the hybrid straw mouthpiece is fantastic for my (apparently very high maintenance) hydration needs. Only con is strictly user error. I’m so used to one or the other mouthpiece that on occasion, if I’m distracted, I malfunction and take a sip from the straw piece while also tipping the bottle up as if to swig from the open mouthpiece, and I wind up with a silly accidental face bath. Would be embarrassing if it didn’t make innocent bystanders chuckle without fail. Happy to be of service for a serotonin boost, I suppose. I haven’t read other reviews, so idk if it’s just me & my adhd distractability, but just a heads up for anyone else who has ever grabbed a sip of paint water while dipping their paintbrush into their coffee, or equivalent mishaps. If you’re not careful, you could accidentally end up with a face full of water while brightening someone’s day. Edit: reading some reviews I see that my issue is a ME issue lol. Also, I quickly got used to the hook/lock. But it’s good to see more of my people who GET the hydration/water bottle fixation! I see you!
