I have an old horse that looks like a yeti coming out of winter. Buying battery powered horse clippers in the local saddlery, would have set me back 3-400£. I just wanted to clip one horse. Cluppets arrived virtually fully charged but I plugged them in anyway till 100%. The instructions are in tiny print, and I wasn't sure why it wanted you to take the blades out and put them in again. I didn't bother. I clipped on the finest plastic comb and off I went. This old mare had never been clipped. With a few treats, she stood like a champ to have her lower neck and chest clipped. The clippers emit a quiet buzzing sound, they don't get hot and they glide through very effectively. Excellent value for money and did a stellar job. I used them for about 30 minutes and it only used 6% of battery. Really easy too use and good weight and nice to hold.

Worked fab for my young horses first clip. He was too scared of normal big clippers. So decided on these, managed to clip him and still had battery left. Not too loud or hard on the vibration, also quite sturdy but not heavy or bulky. Very pleased

Game changer, I’ve got a Connemara which I’ve had for 14 years, not once have I clipped it without sedating, ordered these and omg now clipped it twice without sedation ! He’s got cushings so having to clip him every couple of months, the savings in sedative alone has enabled me to buy two lots of these clippers , last week we had both sets round his face and he didn’t move a muscle . Brilliant battery life , don’t think I can get replacement blades but can easily get them sharpened.

I can confirm that this cuts right through hair on even the dirtiest, fluffiest ponies. It definitely has enough power to handle horses and the blades were really sharp. I had never clipped before, but these were idiot proof and I never nicked him. It normally takes me months to shed him out completely, so these saved me a ton of time. They’re relatively quiet and the battery lasts forever. My only complaint is that this company doesn’t sell replacement blades. They dulled about 3/4 of the way through (again, with him being so hairy and dirty that’s not a knock on the blade quality) and I ended up having to order a different brand which worked almost as well.
