Works with Alexa, with the Hub Mini Matter I was finally capable to make Alexa use the Temperature sensors for Routines. Nothing else worked before. Now I can control room temperatures through routines with the heater and AC just on smart switches.

This is a fantastic device, I am very happy with it! Having the extra sensor is a plus as I am trying to monitor temps in different rooms without having to move the MeterPro itself. Matter setup wasn't the most straightfoward compared to other smart systems I have but at least it was only a 1-time frustration after figuring it out...I couldn't seem to determine if a Google Nest hub was truly required but it seems to have completed the setup w/ my Alexa account instead with no other equipment needed. This is a great addition to my smart systems and will be SO helpful in working on equalizing temps throughout my house, and for the money spent I got more thank I expected with this device & the SwitchBot infrastructure.

I’m sharing my SwitchBot experience with the SwitchBot Meters. I have 2 Meter Mini and 2 with the screens. These are fantastic devices to monitor temperature and humidity. I have one in my garage freezer and always check that the temperature is 0 degrees F. I use the Indoor Meter Pro to connect everything up with a Hub Mini Matter Enabled to monitor another meter outside to get real-time temperature. I use my last meter on camping trips in the cooler. I can check it using Bluetooth and on my phone that the cooler’s temperature is ideal without ever needing to open it. Great products. Using these products with Apple HomeKit is a bit funky but doable, hence the 4 stars. This review was written at the request of SwitchBot, but reflects my real experience and opinion.

This was something that I was waiting for a long time. Here are all the boxes it checks: wireless, long battery life, reasonable price, waterproof for outdoor use, good app with graphing capability, functioning widget for Android and most importantly, matter compatible so I can see temperatures in Google Home as well as Smartthings. Works exactly as advertised and setup was a breeze. I highly recommend this.

I use this in our bathroom to automate turning on my exhaust fan when the humidity gets too high with the help of a switchbot bot. It has been working great. The automation was easy to setup and now I don’t have to remind everyone to turn on the exhaust fan during a shower.

I originally came to know about Switchbot through their automated curtain closure. Since them I am using one Switchbot product or the other. Specific to this Thermometer, I used it for more than a month now. While I configure it to measure Temp, Humidity, Absolute Humidity, Dew Point and VPD every ten minutes, its battery performance is so far so good. You can refer the screenshots for specific measurements. I validated reading with another thermometer I have and its accurate. I liked its alert functionality and you can see in the video on how it works. Since switchbot comes with latest matter protocol, I integrated with Google and Samsung Smart things to control my indoor humidifier and Temp to keep the comfort level and VPD helped set appropriate water vapor level for proper plant growth. As an added bonus, you can store data for 2yrs on board and export into a CSV format for any additional analysis or opt to store data in the cloud for historical analysis. Overall I an please with its performance, price and will recommend it for any one in the market for a reliable thermometer.

Information horribly unclear. Needs a million little devices just to be able to access temperature remotely. Never states on description that it needs Apple TV, or another separate device on top of the ones I’ve already purchased.

Nice big display easy to read during the day. Appears to be accurate and does have the ability to be calibrated which I have not attempted. It paired with the app easily, however I have not been able to get the Matter integration to successfully integrate with HomeKit so I have dinged it a star. I love how you can select what temperature sensor is displayed on the device. I like having the remote outdoor temperature sensor the larger top display, while the devices indoor temperature as the slightly smaller temperature on the bottom. I think this is a great value for the money.
