The gingerbread pieces are sturdy and easy to handle. It comes with a base that is grooved so you can add icing and set the walls. There is also a cardboard support that holds the roof sections in place as icing hardens. The kids thought this support was cute because it had a chimney and Santa’s legs were visible. You could have the kids color it before attaching. We got m and m candies instead of the tiny sugar beads that came with it which are easier to apply. Really cute, kids had fun building and I will look for this same one next year and hope it is available!

This kit was super easy and super cute! I bought 3. I had bought extra icing and candies but found the kit was generous with both. We recommend using a glue gun to put it together for stability. We did have 1 broken wall out of the 3 kits but it was easily fixed with some glue. Had a good time. Worth the purchase.

All the pieces arrived whole, nothing broken. I supplemented some of the candy as there wasn't much. The icing takes forever to dry, so it takes some patience from your little ones. A little tip is to decorate the pieces while flat and then assemble, because, as I said, the icing takes forever to dry and everything started sliding off the sides. Still, a fun activity.

I’ve made a lot of gingerbread houses with kids and this was one of the best I’ve used! It’s easy to set up because of the stand. The icing was strong and actually held the pieces together pretty quickly.30 minutes after we finished, one of the kids tried to bite off a piece of the roof and it fell off. I was able to stick it back on because the remaining icing was still good. I’m happy with this kit!

First, these were SOOO YUMMY! I always order 5 gingerbread houses, so each of my kids can make their own. I buy the cheaper small ones, and they taste like cardboard but they still have fun. This year, I bought 1 for myself... THIS ONE...and OMG, this is amazing! The cookie tastes like gingerbread should, and the frosting was delicious and plenty to put together properly. Its thick, and not runny. The only thing that sucked was several pieces were completely broken, and it had obviously been dropped...but the taste outweighs the look and I definitely recommend!!!

The media could not be loaded. This is one of our holiday traditions and these kits are perfect. And, edible! I buy extra treats to use for decorations but there’s enough in the kit to create a cute and creative house.

The structure is cute, but does not stick together. Very frustrating. The adhesive element is important and we reread the instructions with no success. I wanted these to work so badly. Limited candy and port adhesive. Lots of potential! No success.
