What are the benefits of growing Stevia at home?

Stevia, also called sweetleaf, produces naturally sweet leaves that can be used in teas, recipes, and homemade sweeteners. Once established, plants are heat tolerant, productive, and easy to maintain.

When should I plant Stevia, and how long does it take to germinate?

Start seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before your last frost date at about 75°F. Barely cover seeds, as light helps germination. Sprouts typically emerge in 7 to 14 days, though germination rates are naturally low.

What growing zones are suitable for these seeds?

Stevia grows as a tender perennial in USDA Zones 8-11. In cooler regions, it can be grown as an annual or overwintered indoors with warmth, bright light, and protection from frost

Are these seeds heirloom, non-GMO, and good for seed saving?

Yes, these are heirloom, open-pollinated, and non-GMO, which means you can save seeds and grow them again season after season.

Are the seeds treated or coated with chemicals?

No. The seeds are untreated; no chemical coatings, fungicides, or synthetic treatments.
