Easy to open and hide in food. Can see the change in my cat.
These little capsules just need a little careful twist and they come apart easily. I recommend opening it over the food or whatever you are putting it into. I can’t think of many cats who you could get the whole tablet into. It’s got a good bit of powder inside. I add it stirred into either Webbox LikELix treat paste or into his wet food. He eats either no problem. This is my anxious cat Toddy. He tends to pace and meow lots when bored and stressed. I can definitely tell he’s more chilled once it’s in his system. My other cat Riley is the opposite. He is so calm and just sleeps all the time and rarely meows. Chalk and cheese. I tested one in his food as he’s the one who can seem to smell anything extra in food and turn away. He didn’t notice at all. The only reason I’ve not given 5 stars is that if you are giving one a day it’s quite costly. I’d recommend giving these a try for sure. HINT: Beaphar calming drops (put on back of their neck) and Beaphar Calming collar are both brilliant for VERY anxious cats or if going to the vets or moving house etc. I’ve used that brand for years and combine now with these depending on what’s going on. A happier, calmer Toddy is a happy cat mum!

Excellent product
I have 3 rehomed brothers , all nervous but having problems with one not settling and spraying on an increasing basis . I took advice on reducing stressors but also started using this on a daily basis with the anxious cat . After about 4days the difference in behaviour is very marked and fingers crossed - spraying has stopped and a complete change . They are all 3 calmer . I think more than one change has helped but I’m convinced this is a major factor . I have had no problem in him taking it sprinkled on food .

Relaxing for some cats
This product I used in conjunction with products like Feliway and pet remedy and or zylkene for my really anxious cat. I think he was too anxious for these products to really help sadly. I just opened them and sprinkled them into his food or lick-e-Lix as I was willing to try anything. I do work in the veterinary field and do have anecdotal evidence that these do work as some clients swear by them. It’s a different experience for wach cat! My cat ate them happily in lick-e-lix seems to have no qualms for the taste. They didn’t smell of much except maybe a bit yeasty if you sniffed them up close. But a reasonable price for something that might help your cat feel more relaxed.

They work, keep going with them as take a few weeks but brilliant results
I tried all sorts and was at breaking point with my anxious cat, endless cycle of UTI and cystitis and she was getting more and more stressed and started to urinate out of her litter tray, howling and distressed. Visits to the vets were stressful and they couldn’t determine the cause. These were a panic buy as I didn’t know where else to turn. They took a few weeks to gradually work but she is back to her happy little self, it took patience and determination but they really worked. I will continue with them with a monthly subscription.

Good but not a miracle treatment
I think these have helped calm my cat a bit. They aren’t a miracle cure but can definitely see a difference in my cat’s confidence. Unfortunately it hasn’t helped my cats get along with each other any better yet but I will keep trying. I have to open the capsule and mix it in a lick-e-lix for one cat. The other I have to feed it orally as she doesn’t like the taste of it in her food, luckily the size enables me to do this. Good value for money for the number of tablets

It worked for my cat. Not cheap.
For many years I used the YuMove joint supplement with my aging cat (who crossed the rainbow bridge aged 16) in both normal and senior cat versions, so I'm used to cracking open the capsules. What I do is squeeze a tube of Lick-e-lix into a bowl, make a hole with a teaspoon and crack a capsule into the hole and then fold the Lick-e-lix over the top. It's my cat's favourite food of the day! YuMove claim that this is effective after 4 to 6 weeks. My cat is just over 5kg and they recommend 2 daily capsules over 5kg in weight, but I was cautious and concerned about sending him into a stupor. AND this powder isn't cheap! I'd say it took the full six weeks, but my young rescue kitty is definitely more chilled while -- and this is very important to me -- fully engaged at playtimes and while garden hunting and general life stuff. I describe him as being dialled down to "normal". He's clearly less bothered by the attentions of a local tom who was causing him grief and that's all I can ask for.
