Paramedic's Review
This thing rocks. I work as a paramedic and sometimes our $15,000 monitor decides to act like it's from dollar tree. I use this in conjunction w our monitor and it is a life saver. Why this thing is so awesome: 1. Bluetooth - absolute game changer for me. not only can you save recordings for later but the connection is seamless. open the app and it instantly connects with no fuss. since i'm usually sitting behind the patient I can monitor the oxygen saturation and waveform with my phone sitting up and not have to constantly look at their finger 2. Plethysmograph - the waveform shown on the screen allows to help verify the accuracy of the readings. A smooth, consistent waveform usually means a good reading. Also pleth waves coincide with mechanical output of the heart so I can see things on it like irregular heart rhythms (for example afib) 3. the screen flips - first of all the device off by itself when you put the finger out which i think is awesome bc i never have to worry about leaving it on but once it is on and on a finger pushing the power button actually rotates the screen. so if you're taking readings from the side or front you can turn it whatever way you want 4. perfusion index - another way to help verify accuracy. perfusion index generally falls between 0.3 and 10. low number usually means poor blood circulation like cold fingers, low blood pressure, etc. I find the oximetry readings and pleth waves to be very accurate when compared to our $15k monitor. The reading and heart rate shows the same on both. The heart rate even seems to show the same as our cardiac monitor with electrodes. I like that it comes w a lanyard and place to attach. I also bought a case for it off Amazon. -- The bad: the respiratory rate is not accurate. I'm assuming it is calculating respiratory rate by using algorithms to calculate respiratory activity based on changes in the pleth. This device tends to way overshoot legitimate respiratory rate. It may say respiratory rate is 34 when it is really 12. I do not trust it what so ever. If you're trying to actually calculate respiratory rate try out an app like MedTimer. Overall I love it. 10/10. Reliable. App is wonderful. Was so worth buying a more expensive one over a super cheap one.

Does a good job
As advertised. The readings check with the readings against another pulse oximeter I own. The screen is bright, and shows the pulse waves to make sure you are getting an accurate reading. It has the added advantage of collecting the data in the app via blue tooth to my iPhone. You have to press a record button on the phone app to start and stop the data collection. In the past, I was transcribing the readings to show to the doctor and it was getting tedious with potential for mistakes. Now I can get a report generated by the app, e-mailed to me, or anyone with whom I wish to share. The app was easy to install and paired with the device when it is on. Happy with this purchase.

Very easy to use and accurate!
There were so many oximeters to choose from and a very large price range. I read many reviews and finally chose this one. I have been very happy with it so far! The readings seem accurate; agrees with my Fitbit for heart rate. I love having the lanyard. My Fitbit only records nightly oxygen, but I wanted to know daily readings which gave me peace of mind. It was very simple to set up the app and connect by bluetooth, and I love being able to record data for a historical record. This unit connects quickly and gives readings quickly. I highly recommend it.

Best oximeter after review. Best oximeter after use.
Outstsanding pulse oximeter. Fast, repeatable results. Monitors oxymetry, pulse, respiratory rate, strength of signal. Agrees with doctor's oximeter.

Easy to read and accurate, but the app needs work
The blood oxygen monitor itself works well. The screen is bright and easy to read, and the readings have been accurate and consistent. For the price, the hardware feels solid enough, and it does offer a surprising amount of data and analysis once you dig into the features. Where it falls short is the app. I’ve had several connection issues, and getting it to sync isn’t always smooth. When it works, the app gives you good insight, but the reliability just isn’t there. Also, while the monitor fits my finger fine, anyone with larger fingers might have trouble getting a comfortable fit. Overall, the quality is okay, but I’m not completely convinced it’s worth what I paid, mainly because the app experience doesn’t match the strength of the device itself. Pros: Easy‑to‑read display Accurate readings Good price for the hardware Offers detailed data and analysis Cons: App has frequent connection issues Finger fit may be tight for larger hands Overall value feels a bit questionable Who it’s good for: Someone who wants a simple, accurate pulse oximeter and doesn’t rely heavily on the app. It’s fine for quick checks and basic tracking, but if you need seamless syncing or larger sizing, you may want to look at other options.

This is a good oximeter with recording capability
I really like this oximeter it’s on my finger right now. As a matter of fact, it helps me monitor my blood, oxygen concentration and it tracks or records the data and record records for later use.

works fine. I was even able to write my own SW to record it to a PC
I found it serviceable given the price point. The company tells you not to use it for continuous monitoring, but nothing actually prevents you from doing that, and with 2xAAA eneloop NiMH batteries this will easily run through a whole night. If you wedge some blu-tack putty or similar in the pivot points on each side, you can reduce the applied pressure on your finger for better comfort. Of course this is a consumer device, not professional gear, and I daresay not intended for any serious medical application. In a few hours of AI-assisted playing around, I got a Python script (for Windows or Raspberry Pi) that connects to the BLE (Bluetooth) data and continually logs the SpO2, Pulse, Respiration Rate, and Perfusion Index (PI%) which are reported once per second. Note the respiration rate (estimated from HR variation) is quite unreliable. The SpO2 and Pulse values seem reasonable though. The Bluetooth data also includes the raw plethysmograph signal, although it's only 8 bit resolution at 24 samples per second. I'm not sure how accurate this signal is, but it looks plausible and sometimes even shows a little bump that I suspect is the dicrotic notch signal coming from the aortic valve closure. timestamp,packet_num,spo2,pulse_bpm,respiration_per_min,perfusion_index 2026-09-30T18:14:52.9,1,96,108,25,7.6 2026-09-30T18:14:54.0,2,96,108,23,7.4 2026-09-30T18:14:55.0,3,96,107,23,6.8 (...etc) If you're interested in the code and you know what github is, search there for "innovo-ip900bp-b-ble-logger"

Accurate, Fast, and Worth the Investment for your Health
I’ve been using this oximeter for about three months, and I’ve been very impressed with its performance. The ability to record and store history on your cell phone is extremely useful. I shared the data during my last visit with my pulmonologist, and he was surprised by how much information it had logged. Readings seem accurate and very quick, and I have confidence in the data it provides. It’s a little more expensive than some other options, but for something related to your health, the added reliability is worth it. Overall, a high‑quality oximeter with excellent tracking features and dependable results.
