Easy to use and accurate!
Searched a number of sites and this one came out on top anywhere close to its price range. Works great and the app is a plus with Bluetooth. I needed to stay on top of my blood oxygen levels after PE, and works great, along with several other measurements!

Saved my life (Literally)
(UPDATE) In March of this year, I found myself unusually short of breath from minor exertion. Using this meter, I was able to watch my oxygen rapidly swing from the mid 90's to mid 80's in a matter of seconds/minutes with my normal 50's resting pulse spiking over 120 as the oxygen dropped. This device helped convince me something was seriously wrong, and I went to the ER. Diagnosis was an Acute Pulmonary ๐ซ Embolism Saddle which meant a blood clot was nearly blocking both vessels into my lungs. It can kill you quickly. I was in surgery within hours and walked out the following day. Note I am very healthy mid-50's and this was my only symptom. If you are short of breath, or you get abnormal pulse oxygen readings, get to the ER immediately. This device can help you know things are not normal. -----โ------- (ORIGINAL REVIEW) This device is fantastic. Time to use was the time it took to remove the batteries from the plastic wrap and insert them in the device. Hit the power button, and instant readings. Downloaded the app and it instantly found the device and Bluetooth was up and running. Short clicks on the power button changed the display orientation, long clicks changed the brightness. Thorough and well written instructions told me everything I needed to know. Bluetooth or not to Bluetooth? The app makes monitoring in real time easy, and tracks and saves your readings. Worth it if you want to try breathing exercises and evaluate your results in different situations. Great device.

Does a good job
As advertised. The readings check with the readings against another pulse oximeter I own. The screen is bright, and shows the pulse waves to make sure you are getting an accurate reading. It has the added advantage of collecting the data in the app via blue tooth to my iPhone. You have to press a record button on the phone app to start and stop the data collection. In the past, I was transcribing the readings to show to the doctor and it was getting tedious with potential for mistakes. Now I can get a report generated by the app, e-mailed to me, or anyone with whom I wish to share. The app was easy to install and paired with the device when it is on. Happy with this purchase.

The Best Choice for the money.
Why NOT 5 Stars: One VITAL entry is missing from the recorded data -- a Comment or Note entry. This type of Data is Meaningless without CONTEXT. A recording of what might be concerning values after sitting for 3 hours could be interpreted differently than the same readings recorded just after a five mile run. While separate logs can be kept, they belong with the recorded data. That said, the device works well, the Bluetooth connection was quick & easy, and all the collected data was recorded and available for historical display by Date and Time. Be aware, the entire system is designed for use by ONE person. I would like the ability to record data for multiple people to make it useful for a family or elderly couple. I like that it's able to record readings over a period of time as well a the usual snapshot. I'm very disappointed that users are unable to include context information with their readings, however the other units I've used suffer from this or are even more limited in the data saved.

Quality and ease of use!!!
We chose this for more than one reason, not only is it wearable around the neck but it makes it life saving and easier to check oxygen levels and also the app as we can share the results with our doctor. Awesome ๐ all around!!!

Paramedic's Review
This thing rocks. I work as a paramedic and sometimes our $15,000 monitor decides to act like it's from dollar tree. I use this in conjunction w our monitor and it is a life saver. Why this thing is so awesome: 1. Bluetooth - absolute game changer for me. not only can you save recordings for later but the connection is seamless. open the app and it instantly connects with no fuss. since i'm usually sitting behind the patient I can monitor the oxygen saturation and waveform with my phone sitting up and not have to constantly look at their finger 2. Plethysmograph - the waveform shown on the screen allows to help verify the accuracy of the readings. A smooth, consistent waveform usually means a good reading. Also pleth waves coincide with mechanical output of the heart so I can see things on it like irregular heart rhythms (for example afib) 3. the screen flips - first of all the device off by itself when you put the finger out which i think is awesome bc i never have to worry about leaving it on but once it is on and on a finger pushing the power button actually rotates the screen. so if you're taking readings from the side or front you can turn it whatever way you want 4. perfusion index - another way to help verify accuracy. perfusion index generally falls between 0.3 and 10. low number usually means poor blood circulation like cold fingers, low blood pressure, etc. I find the oximetry readings and pleth waves to be very accurate when compared to our $15k monitor. The reading and heart rate shows the same on both. The heart rate even seems to show the same as our cardiac monitor with electrodes. I like that it comes w a lanyard and place to attach. I also bought a case for it off Amazon. -- The bad: the respiratory rate is not accurate. I'm assuming it is calculating respiratory rate by using algorithms to calculate respiratory activity based on changes in the pleth. This device tends to way overshoot legitimate respiratory rate. It may say respiratory rate is 34 when it is really 12. I do not trust it what so ever. If you're trying to actually calculate respiratory rate try out an app like MedTimer. Overall I love it. 10/10. Reliable. App is wonderful. Was so worth buying a more expensive one over a super cheap one.
