Gentle enough for my mature skin
Allies of Skin Retinal 0.05% review This product comes in an appropriate cosmetic box. The cream is in a tube and it has a pump on it to dispense the product. It is the first pump on a tube I believe I have ever seen. I like it but I do wonder when I only have a small amount of product left if it will be able to dispense the entire contents but I will just have to wait and see. This is a yellow cream. It goes on very easy and spreads evenly. It took a couple of pumps to do all my face and neck. The listing mentions that this product is a beginner strength of retinol and since I have used other retinol products for a couple of years I didn’t do a skin test as I usually do on new cosmetics. I have not experienced any negative effects of using this night cream and I do have sensitive areas on my face especially the top of my cheeks which are prone to burning and turning red and irritated looking. This is a new brand and new product for me. I have not used it long enough to see how it wears long term but so far I am pleased with how my skin is reacting to this cream. Since I have very mature and thinner skin I am more protective of what I put on my face every day and this is a product that is not causing me any issues and I am happy with this it and will be using the entire tube. My box had an expiration date of August 30, 2027 printed on the box. Below are the ingredients as copied from the box. INGREDIENTS Aqua (Water), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Propanediol, Punica Granatum Seed Oil, Methylsilanol Hydroxyproline Aspartate, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Rubus Chamaemorus Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Beta-Glucan, Centella Asiatica Extract, Saccharomyces/Xylinum/Black Tea Ferment, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract, Ubiquinone, Epigallocatechin Gallate, Madecassoside, Asiaticoside, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Ceramide NP, Panthenol, Arginine, Glycolipids, Ornithine, Retinal (Retinaldehyde), Bisabolol, Populus Tremuloides Bark Extract, Lecithin, Oxidized Glutathione, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Gluconolactone, Levulinic Acid, Biotin, Palmitoy Tripeptide-5, Palmitoy! Awesome night cream for radiant skin
I've been using this night cream for a while now, and I'm truly enjoying the experience. Each morning, I wake up to find that my skin feels incredibly soft and appears radiant, which is a wonderful way to start the day. While I'm still waiting to see any noticeable effects on my fine lines, I remain hopeful that consistent use will yield positive results. One thing I've observed is that I need to apply a generous amount, as it tends to absorb quickly into my skin. This might be necessary for optimal hydration, but it does mean I go through the product faster than I would prefer. Additionally, I find the price point to be on the higher side for a night cream, which makes me weigh its value carefully. However, if I start to see a reduction in the appearance of my fine lines in the coming weeks, I will gladly consider it worth the investment. Overall, I’m optimistic about its long-term benefits.

Mixed results
I've been using the Allies of Skin Retinal 0.05% Peptides Repair Night Cream for several weeks, and my experience has been somewhat mixed. The cream itself has a nice texture; it's rich and creamy, and it absorbs well into my skin without feeling greasy. I appreciate the impressive ingredient list, which includes encapsulated retinaldehyde, peptides, ceramides, and antioxidants. My skin definitely feels softer and smoother in the morning, and I've noticed a subtle brightening effect. I haven't seen a dramatic reduction in fine lines or wrinkles yet, but perhaps that will come with more consistent use. The tube packaging is practical and hygienic, which I appreciate. The biggest drawback, as with many Allies of Skin products, is the price. It's undeniably expensive, and I'm not entirely convinced it justifies the cost. While the formula is sophisticated, I've achieved comparable results with other, less costly retinal products. In short, this is a decent night cream with beneficial ingredients and noticeable, albeit subtle, improvements to skin texture and brightness. However, the exorbitant price makes it hard to wholeheartedly recommend. If money is no object and you're seeking a retinal product with a comprehensive ingredient list, it might be worth a try. But for most people, there are more budget-friendly options that can deliver similar results.

Excellent
Excellent. I usually have a pretty extensive morning routine with several products, but as I'm on vacation in a very hot and humid country I'm avoiding anything but sunscreen in the morning or I'll be a sticky mess within five minutes of stepping outside. Instead I'm doing all of my skincare stuff at night, so this retinal night cream has been the perfect replacement for my usual serum. It's a thick serum that absorbs well and doesn't leave a sticky residue. Perfect for sleeping in a room with AC that can swing a few degrees in either direction in moments. A heavier serum that left me feeling tacky would be uncomfortable. I can't comment on the efficacy as I've only been using it three weeks, but I've not noticed any degradation in my skin condition since switching out this serum for my usual day cream (which costs twice the price). I'm calling that a solid win.

Brightened and softened my skin
I like to get facial and hand cream products with retinol or retinal, to help control aging skin, including minimizing my wrinkles. I have had good success with retinal (which is supposed to be a little better than retinol), and that’s what drew me to this product. It comes in a tube with a pump end, and I can control the amount I pump out, which is usually just a small pea-sized blob. This particular cream is yellow, which surprised me and I didn’t particularly like at first, but it’s fine - it doesn’t make my skin yellow or anything like that. After rubbing it in, my skin is noticeably soft. The only thing I don’t love is I think this smells like state fair funnel cakes! It’s funny - I at first couldn’t place the smell but now that’s exactly what i think it smells like. I apply this at night, and since it has the retinal, I can live with the funny smell.

Encapsulated Ratinal - Anti-aging night cream
I am in my late 30s and I don't normally use retinal products extensively so I was apprehensive about using a moisturiser with such a high retinal concentration (0.5%) because I felt it might cause irritation to my skin but after a bit of a research It turned out that encapsulated retinal offers anti-aging benefits without any irritation. The encapsulation process works like a shield to the skin which in turn reduces the irritation plus expedite the anti-agent benefits. After a better understanding of the product, I wore it consecutively for 2 nights. its too early to say its working but i must mention that I noticed the moisturizing effects. Per the description, it is a step 04 treatment moisturizer meaning there are other products in the series that would probably help make it work more effectively which makes me curious to see more. Also because the look & feel of the product is fairly decent. The ingredients list is a blend of seed oils, extracts, and other highly beneficial components. The design aspect was unexpected for me as it comes in a tube shape (48ml) with a combination of a pump top. While a pump top typically promotes easy dispensing, what makes it more effective is the bottle standing upright on a surface. Since it is in a tube shape, i wasn't expecting a pump top. That said, I will continue to use this treatment moisturizer for my nightly routine and notice its potential benefits.

Good night cream, pairs well with the Allies of Skin Firming Daily Treatment
Allies of Skin is made in Singapore which isn't usually a country I consider for skin care products, but since many celebrities use this brand, I decided to try this Retinal 0.05% & Peptides Repair Night Cream. This has a lot of goodies in it. The scent is fairly subtle and I couldn't place it, but I think it is the p-Anisic acid, which is a naturally occurring compound found in anise, that is second to last on the ingredient list. This isn't too harsh for my normal but maturing skin, and I'm liking it so far. I am using it at night and the Allies of Skin Peptides & Antioxidants Advanced Firming Daily Treatment during the day.

Pleasant and effective
Great start for a nighttime retinal (instead of retinol) product. Absolutely pleasant and effective. You cannot go wrong with this.
