This is the smallest lipstick ever! It is not full size like the description claims. The gloss is dry and doesn’t make your lips shiny like I want. I am shocked that it got such great reviews. Do yourself a favor and save $20. Go to target and find something better.

I'm generally a fan of Charlotte Tilbury's lip sticks, as they apply smooth and have a squared tip that can help with neatly applying on your cupids bow or defining your look. In this "Icon Baby" lip duo kit you get two products: 1) a travel size lipstick of "Icon Baby" which is like a dark mauve color but applies very thin 2) a full size lip gloss of "Hall of Fame" which is a hydrating lip gloss in a baby pink color but applies almost clear My first impression is that these two colors don't really go together and so while you can wear it together, you really don't have to. Pros: - I like the small travel size of the lipstick, this makes it easy to pack with you on the go and if you have a larger make up collection the smaller footprint is nice. The full size of the lip gloss isn't that big either, it's maybe twice the height of the lipstick - the products do apply nicely and don't have any weird smells or textures. They feel exactly like you'd expect - the package is really nice from the box they come in to the cosmetics themselves so I do think this would make a great set to give as a gift Cons: - the colors are not that pigmented, and apply way thinner and more 'natural' looking than they appear at first glance - applying the lip gloss over the lip stick swipes some of the lipstick product onto the lip gloss' doe foot applicator - because the formulas are quite thin, the lasting power isn't that long - the cosmetic packaging is very light, almost feels low quality I think this set is best used as a gift for a make up lover in your life or someone who is just starting to experiment with different quality make up brands. The quality is there but the color combination isn't quite a match. The formulas do feel good but just aren't super pigmented. I think this alone makes it great for younger folks maybe in middle to early high school.
