I had no idea this was available to purchase online through Amazon. I had purchased this through the website after speaking to a representative online from Intuit. She had sent me an email and explained what software I needed to do my fathers trust. She had given me the wrong one. When I called, the new representative assisted me with getting a refund and even sent me a link to the correct software I needed. By directing me here, it even came at a discounted price. The software worked very smoothly and I completed it in no time!

TurboTax remains my top choice for tax filing in 2025. Its intuitive interface guides users through the process with simple, step-by-step questions, making it accessible for beginners and seasoned filers alike. The software excels at importing documents, saving time, and offers robust tools like deduction finders and a refund tracker.However, the pricing feels steep, and there’s a persistent push to upsell additional features, which can be off-putting. Recommended for those who value ease and accuracy over bargain pricing.

They have TOTALLY ruined TurboTax!! I will switch to someone else next year.The problem is they totally changed how you enter investments to probably the WORST user interface I have ever used on any software. I can't imagine how this got through testing, if they even bothered to have testers. What used to be clear and easy, and take a minute or so, now takes several minutes for each entry. It gets worse the more entries you might have. You can't just go back to a specific investment - have to cycle through a hard to use set of screen. Instead of a simple list, there are now large blocks (like just 2 or 3 investments per screen) for each investment. You have to scroll scroll scroll up and down to see each investment. Want to edit one, the prompt to verify edit is found way back at the top of the page, and YOU have to scroll way up to find it. I only found it by accident when I tried to edit an entry for an investment a few screenfuls down the page. AWFUL! If you don't have many investments, and you've never used TurboTax before, you might find this abomination okay.I called their tech support to see if there was a work around - their answer - use the online version, which costs a whole bunch more. Well my answer is to leaver a harsh review here, and switch to a different provider next year. Never again!

I've used TurboTax for a number of years. It's accurate, and I have never had a problem with a return. I'm a retired accountant. I did many tax returns by hand over the years. TurboTax makes it so easy. Even complex returns are simple. It will import 1099s from most financial institutions, including 1099-B from brokers. That is a real time-saver.

I needed to start using this in 2024 (tax year 2023) for my friends first-party SNT. It works great for doing the trust's taxes.
