Will I See Him Again? (A Look At Pets In Heaven)

there are a variety of teachings & opinions regarding death & grief. when i was nursing my Sabu kitty with his terminal cancer, i needed to know that this innocent creature, with whom i shared a mutual unconditional love, would exist beyond his death. i had heard religious authorities deny that animals have a spirit, a soul, or eternal life. i had heard hopeful others assert animals must be in Heaven. conjecture & ignorance weren't good enough for me so i consulted the highest authority, God Himself & His written word, the Bible. i NEEDED to know, without a doubt, one way or the other. the more i read & referenced Scripture, the more i saw the wonderful, hopeful, soothing evidence that yes, animals, referred to as "living souls" in the original Biblical language, do possess not only soul but the "breath" or, "spirit" of life & by possessing both soul & spirit do indeed possess eternal life! then i researched books & authors on the subject, one being Tom Waldron & his book. it was so rewarding to see what i found in the Bible has been researched & written about by others, confirming my findings. when i found myself again nursing a terminally ill kitty, i wrote to Mr. Waldron who was encouraging & comforting & helped me through losing Sampson. that was in 2008 & we continue corresponding to this day! animals are indeed innocent & sentient & because they do not possess the degree of rationality that we seem to, in no way indicates they are not important to God Himself who is "merciful to ALL He has created." knowing my beloved animals continue to live in a spiritual realm has made it all the more vital for me to be sure i will join them!

Oh, wow! This book is everything I had hoped for and more. We had just lost our beautiful black lab, and I was so wounded. I was actually looking for something about whether animals grieve, but was "led" to this book instead. Tom has done a great job in his study and research. This book is easy to read and offers hope and comfort.Biblically sound. I wasn't sure about what happens to our pets even though I have studied the Bible for years. It just never crossed my mind until I lost 2 of my most wonderful little friends in one year, Gizmo and Pnut. I had such a horrific time, feeling that this was all there was for them. Such a waste, if that was the case. Then I ran across Tom's Book, and hope and expectation, along with a little happiness at the prospect of seeing them again brought some peace and joy back to my hurting heart. Their little short lives aren't a waste after all. Thanks Tom for your study and your heart of compassion.

A doctrinally and scripturally sound Christian book. If you're a pet lover that needs answers and comfort, then this book is for you. The author makes no apology or compromise for his strong biblical stance and that in itself is very comforting. Not only is this book filled with scriptural facts concerning that our animal companions are living souls, but it also explains the doctrine of Christian salvation. The only draw back is that the reading can be a little choppy at times, but that makes it a real challenge. Thanks again Tom for your solid Christian faith and explaining how our little "four legged companions" are truly living souls.

Excellent, thorough, convincing. Helped me feel closer to God and less fearful of the One Who created me. I understand His love for all of His creation. I'm so thankful and reassured now. I know I'll see my precious Teddy and my other beloved pets again. Tom Waldron is a sensitive, intuitive, loving soul who puts so well into words what we suffer at the loss of our precious pets.

This book is a wealth of hope for those who have lost their companion animals. I recommend it to anyone yearning to be with them, again. It is very well written with specific application of truths. Do not fear, all is not lost!
