Stayed put during a storm!
I just set this up a couple days ago. We had a bit of an unexpected storm last night and the (open) umbrella itself blew off its pole into the neighbor's yard, but the base stayed put. It did loosen up a bit, but I didn't find my pliers to tighten the nut enough, so I expected that to happen sooner or later. Gotta find those pliers. And I guess I'd better duct tape the pole of the umbrella itself, which was purchased elsewhere. :)What I like so far:- I like the design. It should be easy to clean, and it looks good.- It's heavy enough to not blow away in wind gusts. Major test passed.- It seems like it should hold well without wobbling once I tighten it with pliers. The stabilizing pole is a good height and has adapters to fit different diameters of poles.- Good price point. Some of the bases I saw were triple the price of this one.Obviously I can't speak to its durability yet. But I anticipate at least a few years of use from this.

Great Stand!
This stand was tall enough and heavy enough, to hold my 9' Umbrella steady without having to worry about wind blowing it over. I Highly recommend it. I thought, very attractive as well.

Great quality and design
Purchased to go with a new outdoor umbrella. We were able to place the stand under a table that had a space for the umbrella. I have seen other stands that aren't very pretty or appealing and are just cheaply made, but this stand is durable and goes very nicely with our patio and table/umbrella set. It's very sturdy.

Patio umbrella stand.
Good quality, but works best through a picnic table. Standing alone, a strong wind will tip a top-heavy umbrella over.

Looks very nice
I have bought 2 of these. They are very nice looking, however they are not heavy and flip over easily with an umbrella attached. I had to put extra weight around them so that they don’t blow over every time the wind blows. On one of them I can see some cracking already, I’m not sure if it’s from it being blown over or from the umbrella moving in the wind. You can’t really get a good tight grip on the umbrella shaft with the one small screw on the bottom side and the screw is starting to rust after 1 month. I think it would be a better product if it was heavier and for the price I definitely wouldn’t recommend it, unless you’re using it in a no wind zone.
