In boxes in my Jeep TJ.. I just hooked one up to the 200w Boss amp under the seat.. HOLY COW. What a night and day difference.. the system with a Sony Xplod deck wasn’t good at all. The overhead speaker mounts in jeeps (at least my ‘99) were terrible. ZERO bass, some miss? Sorta? Mostly treble. The cheap amp and these make an ENOURMOUS diffference.. it’s freezing outside so I didn’t mess around much but I’m getting ACTUALLY BASS from these 6x9’s.. I did get a cheap 10” sub today too but not even sure I’ll use it after hearing these bad boys.. the boxes I got were about $40, very happy and now just have to figure out how to make them “lazy theif” proof for when the top is down. Surprised and happy. 🏆🙌🏼

They've been holding up good at high volume. Plastic cover looks cheapish, but the pricing was good for what it delivers.

After removing the factory adapter for the front speakers and used then on the new Boss speakers it was a perfect fit for my 2005 ram 2500. The only issue was the wires that came with the speakers and trying to figure out polarity. Issue was resolved when I found adapter wire harness from Red Wolf part # 72-6514 and it became just a plug and play very decent sound. Caution when installing speakers make sure the wires do not interfere with widow
