Great! But not perfect.
I REALLY love the idea of this knife. I treat butter as a food group so I am using it all the time. Some sticks of butter will soften more than others so I loved the idea of a knife that can make the harder butter easier to spread. And it does a great job of that. My only reason for not giving it 5-stars is the shape of it makes it a little awkward to actually spread. It just feels a little challenging to spread the butter evenly. And the butter fills in all the holes so it takes longer to wash/clean it. For these reasons, I will use a standard knife if the butter is soft and this knife when the butter is harder. Its an absolute great tool. I love it. It just isn't as perfect as I was hoping...

What could have been, but is not!
I got this in hopes that it would solve the problems of cold butter but it does not work as well as the product would have you think. It has a nice feel in the hand with some good weight and is a little bigger than a standard butter knife. Seems durable. However, it is difficult to use and is in no way a time saver. Just let the butter sit a bit and your problem is solved.

MOVE ALONG
I read a lot of the reviews for this knife and thought, what the heck! I'll try it out for myself. I have no idea what these reviewers are doing that I am not, but this knife is absolutely worthless!! My fork does a better job! If you watch the manufacturer's video of them showing its use, you can tell that the stick of butter has been softened. Of course, I didn't notice that so much before I bought it. It's not "cold butter" as advertised. I'm one of those people who forgets to take the butter out of the frig a short while before needing it and end up having to microwave the amount I guess I'll need which ends up being melted. UGH! I love my real butter, but hate its non-spreadability! In that respect, I miss my margarine. So, long review, short...if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. I do not recommend this knife! Move along...
