If you lower your expectations for appearance, you might be happy
I wish I had a before image. I only needed it to repair the back of an armrest for a home office desk chair. It used to bother me because the yellow stuffing was coming out and it looked messy. Otherwise, the chair was comfortable and functional, so I hated to spend hundreds of dollars just to get a new one, especially for something that I just use at home and no one else is around to see. There was no damage to the chair anywhere else and it was comfortable to sit in, so I just needed to repair that one section in the back. I had tried in the past with black duct tape and it always came loose and made it look uglier. I bought this kit and I found a small black leather scrap that I cut into the shape of the hole. I used the repair vinyl to glue in the patch and even it out a bit. I brushed on I guess 3 or 4 coats, letting it dry hours in between. As you can see, it's far from perfect if you look up close, but I didn't spend a lot of time or effort on it and from afar, I think it looks great. The most important thing is that it is durable and doesn't start to come loose like the duct tape did. So far, it has held up nicely and held the leather patch in place without peeling. One tip to get it to look less glossy is to let it dry an hour or two, until it is only slightly tacky (but no longer sticky/gooey), and press it with gloved fingers to dull the finish. There is also a leather texture piece to get that texture to match, but I didn't need it. You could also sand with fine grit sandpaper (not included), but I didn't need to with the dulling effect. Anyway, the results are good enough for my uses, YMMV. If you need it for a larger hole in a visible part of a high value piece of furniture, you might be disappointed, but for me and the back corner of this office chair, it was acceptable and I'm glad I bought it. You can barely tell it was repaired from a distance, and that's all I needed.

Worked good
I used this to repair several decent sized holes in my leather jacket. The price was reasonable and it worked out well for me. They give you white to mix with the black to achieve your correct color, it dries quickly and if you need to smooth out any imperfections alcohol and qutip worked for me. I pressed the white paper it comes with (for larger holes) on the area I had fixed semi dry to get close to the same design on my own. I'll take a pic incase that didn't make sense.

Surprised
At 1st this leather fix it kit seemed like a scam product was like watery liquid that seemed as if it was not going to work. But low & behold it worked to perfection and my torn seat cover was repaired as if it was never torn. Surprised how good it look when the product dried. Needed to do 3 coates.

Decent for small repairs, color match was close
I tried this leather repair kit on my couch, and it was okay but not great. The kit comes with everything you need, and it’s easy enough to use, but the repair doesn’t blend perfectly with my couch color and still looks noticeable. The texture also feels a little different from the original leather. It might work better for small scratches or minor fixes, but I wouldn’t rely on it for bigger or highly visible areas.

Works Really Well!
Works really well. Repaired my faux leather ottoman and saved me from having to discard it. Easy to use. Would recommend.

It’s just paint it doesn’t work.
This product is just sticky black paint. It didn’t repair my leather rip at all. It just painted it black. It’s not even sticky enough to close the gash and the baking paper is just paper it does nothing. Horrible.
