We bought this so we could microwave/steam cobs of corn. We had been boiling them in water on the stove and it's just a hassle. This product worked great! Four cobs fit on the tray with the cover. Just put a tablespoon or so of water on the top of the cobs and put in the microwave on high for 9 minutes. Perfection! Easy to clean. And the splatter cover will come in handy for many other things we cook in the microwave.

I love this microwave splatter cover set, it comes in very handy. With the lid on keeps the food warm as well, Con:iI don't know about most microwaves, mine is standard. The plate won't go around in the micro. That sucks! But I like it enough to purchase another one.

I use the top as a splatter cover for the microwave and then use both pieces to keep my mother's food warm. I am full time care giver for my elderly mother who thankfully still has a great appetite and eats three meals per day. Although I don't use the microware often, I liked this set because it has a bottom and cover and thought it would work well for keeping a plate of food warm. It works great for that purpose! My mother eats much more slowly than she used to, and I was having a issue keeping her food warm. I keep her meal covered during the entire meal, just lift the lid to get a bite of food for her, then put the cover right back on. This keeps her meal warm throughout the entire meal. The heating pad I bought does not work well so having this set has been a real help as my mother doesn't enjoy her meal if it gets cold. This has been a lifesaver and has given my mother the enjoyment of a warm meal again. This is large enough to fit the largest of dinner plates. The top also folds down for space saving storage.

Worked ok but we warmed spaghetti the first time we used it and it’s stained. Sprayed and soaked it with bleach but didn’t come out. The bottom part is ok but threw out the top. Waste of money. Update: Have upgraded my review as the seller has offered to replace the product or issue a refund. I appreciate that, and they also gave me suggestions on cleaning the lid. I told them their offer was not necessary as I have already replaced the cover with a new one which happens to fit perfectly in the bottom plate of their product.

Very happy with this set of 2 microwave splatter covers! Having two is incredibly convenient, especially when heating different dishes or when one is in the wash. They do a great job preventing messy splatters and keeping the microwave clean. The anti-scald base plate is a really nice feature—it makes handling hot food much safer and easier. They feel sturdy, practical, and easy to clean. Such a simple but genuinely useful kitchen addition!

This is an excellent item! I appreciate its multipurpose and collapsible design, making it ideal for small spaces and compact cabinets.

The concept of this product is great. We reheat food in our microwave all the time but we also use a lot of glass and ceramic containers to reheat. Needless to say, the dishes get real hot so I bought this because of the base and lid. It does the job in reheating food, reducing splatter and allowing dishes to be removed without the concern of getting burned. Most dishes fit inside the base and lid setup. However, I am already noticing the base is beginning to warp, to the point that it no longer sits flat in the microwave, due to the "bubble" forming on the bottom. After reading other reviews, I am concerned that this "bubble" is going to fully melt and the base will become useless. I still have another but that will probably meet the same fate as this one. If that happens, at least I will have two collapsible lids. I like the product but the base needs improvement, to be able to withstand the heating of glass and ceramic dishes.

I bought this because the description said "dishwasher" safe, but the product labeling said it wasn't, so I processed a return. However, I didn't return it and have come to depend on it. I usually add a small cup of water in the microwave to help steam heat my left overs. With this thing, I simply add water to the bottom of the tray and cover it, then use the tray as a tray so as not to burn my hands, because my Corelle dishware get extra hot when steamed. My bf and I used to cover our microwave dishes with a paper towel. This cover helps us save more trees, is more efficient than having an extra bowl of water in the microwave taking up space. And, honestly, just rinsing after use is enough to keep it clean. I use soap and water to clean it a couple of times a month. I didn't like the mislabeling in the product description. But the pros of this thing far outweighs the cons.
