Hi do you have to use it with Ventolin or can you just use the salin water ? if so where do you get that from?

Hey, you can use it just with saline water. I used only saline water for myself and my baby and was great. I ordered in bulk saline water on amazon. You can buy 1 or few boxes at a time for great deal. The one I use It's called "physiodose" 40 capsules by 5ml each box.

What is the difference between this one and the hangsun cn100?

Both I has,hangsun CN100 has more small lightweight and it is suitable for any atomized liquid and also it is convenient for home use.

Can this run off batteries?

No, it needs to be plugged in to use. I additionally use hangsun CN750, it supports battery and USB, it can be carried around and easy to use.
