Wow 🤩 Loved the cameras already but the new XR sync module is amazing!!
These cameras are incredible! We have had 3 Blink Outdoor 4 cameras for over a year now and they reach about 200 feet from our house with the regular sync module. I decided to purchase two more with the XR Sync Module to see if they would work at the distances advertised. I have to say I’m blown away by their performance on XR+. They are well worth it for us even with XR+ having a saver option as the only selectable video quality and no use of the microphones. I installed one at our gate which is 532’ from our house where the sync module is plugged in and one at our barn which is 295’ away through a lot of trees. They were super easy to install. There is a XR option that allows standard HD video quality but ours had to be on the XR+ option to connect at the distance I placed them but they still show 2 bars of connectivity to the sync module so I could probably go even further with them if I needed to. Both cameras pick up motion well both day and night and the video quality is pretty good for being in saver mode. I still can’t believe they work so far away and it’s nice to have extra security on our acreage. Now I know when I have packages or mail delivered or if something is in our barn that shouldn’t be such as coyotes or bobcats. I’m always checking them and the batteries are still going strong. I wanted to purchase 2 more cameras with the XR module but there was a limit of one purchase because of the Prime Day deal. I will definitely be purchasing them again next year because there are other spots I’d like to put cameras up that are further away than the regular sync module can handle. I’ll attach pictures to show how far they are from our house and some of the night and day image quality. I used the measure tool on Google Earth for measurements. I highly recommend them!

Love The Upgrade!
I had been using Blink XT cameras for years and finally decided to upgrade to the Blink Outdoor 4XR cameras — and I’m honestly glad I did. The setup was quick and easy, and the video quality is noticeably better than my older XT cameras. One of my favorite new features is how the cameras can actually tell you what they’re seeing instead of just sending a generic motion alert. Getting notifications that let me know whether it’s a person, vehicle, or just general motion makes a huge difference and cuts down on unnecessary alerts. The night vision is clearer, the live view loads faster, and overall the system just feels more advanced and reliable. Battery life has also been great so far. If you already have older Blink cameras and have been thinking about upgrading, I would highly recommend the Outdoor 4XR cameras. Definitely worth it for the added features and improved performance.

Do not buy because Blink will not send any replacement for defective cameras
Over the past two weeks, I’ve been trying to get Blink to replace one defective camera from my 4‑camera system. One of the cameras cannot be found by the Sync Module XR, and the device label in the app shows the wrong ID. A Blink technician confirmed the issue and agreed the camera was defective. Blink told me twice that a replacement would be shipped “tomorrow,” but it has now been 13 days with no shipment. I called Blink again three days after the first call. They again promised a replacement “tomorrow,” but nothing happened. I also asked them to send me an email confirming our conversation so I would have documentation. They claimed they had already “sent” one, but nothing appeared in my Gmail inbox or spam folder. When I asked what email address they used, the technician read an address starting with “N…,” even though my email begins with “A…”. I had typed my correct email into their system, and they had my name and physical address correct, so the incorrect email was entirely on their end. The technician insisted I must have “told” them that email, which is impossible. Meanwhile, Blink trial‑plan emails were reaching my correct Gmail address, proving the system had my real email. After correcting the email address, the technician again promised shipping information “later that day.” Three more days passed with nothing except a generic “We appreciate your patience…” email. At that point — 12 days after the first replacement promise — I contacted Amazon. Their only solution was a full refund for the entire system. I explained that this was not equitable because I had already purchased accessories (batteries, micro‑SD cards, mounts) from multiple retailers, and I had already installed the cameras outdoors. Those costs exceed the price of the camera system itself, and the accessories cannot be used for anything else. Amazon insisted that “you can return them too,” even though they were purchased from different stores. They also claimed that even their “lead” would offer only a full refund. I suggested a reasonable alternative: send me another 4‑camera system, and I would return the set with a replacement of one good camera with the defective camera. Amazon refused and repeated that Blink is responsible. Blink, however, has not followed through on any of their promises. To make matters worse, I received a message saying I had been “upgraded to Blink’s Premier Service Plan” even though I had already canceled my trial. I checked Blink.com and saw the trial was still active, so I canceled it again and removed my payment information. Blink has not sent any confirmation of cancellation, so I have been checking daily to ensure they don’t reactivate it. Between Blink and Amazon, this has become a frustrating loop with no resolution, despite being a long‑time Amazon customer with thousands of purchases and Prime membership. And all I get from Blink is "thank you for understanding, we have a backlog..." so that means they aren't shipping cameras to new orders too? They are not shipping my camera replacement because there isn't any additional money for them!

Blink cameras are worth it. Phone support needs improvement.
5 month review: no complaints, no major issues. Even better when they have discounted prices, which is often. But there’s also room for improvement. I’ve been using Blink cameras for several years, and overall I’m happy with them. The best thing about them is they are super easy to install and setup on the App. The video quality is good but not the best. I think the camera sensor is small (I don’t think they mention sensor size in megapixels anywhere) plus the wider field of view may hinder video quality especially on the left and right side of the frame. I compensate the video quality by using more cameras. For example, I just don’t have 1 camera for the front of the house. I have 2 for each side of the drive way. One looking at my front door, plus the Blink door bell. In other words I can see you drive up coming from the street, on one camera. I can see you walk up to my front door, then I can see you up close standing at my front door. All with multiple camera angles. (I can hear you too.) The discounted prices and ease of installation and setup make it easy to expand your system. I’ve had some cameras fail, because they are exposed to the weather, but Blink support replaced them all. I highly suggest contacting Blink support via phone. I recently had a bad experience with emails from customer support. (They probably outsource the email support team internationally.) Battery life is very inconsistent. The advertised 2 year life span is possible but extremely unpractical. It’s just a marketing tactic. Most of my cameras are connected via usb cable with no issues. I suggest powering your cameras with usb cable. I do have some cameras on battery because of the difficult location of running a usb cable. I did have connectivity issues, but an additional Sync Module helped tremendously. I have one sync module for the front yard connected towards the front of the house. And another sync module for the back yard connected towards the rear of the house. The app is very slow, but you’ll get used to it, and not a deal breaker. Even though I’ve only had the Outdoor 4’s for 5 months, these long term review points are still valid. 10 month review: Cameras are still failing when it rains a lot. Blink has replaced them all. However, Blink phone support has (recently) been bad. I had issues with 2 cameras and the phone call with Blink phone support was over 2 hours long. Mind you the cameras were still under warranty. It seemed like they give you the run-around so you give up rather than them sending you a replacement. And yes, the operator confirmed that Blink outsources their phone support internationally. So don't think you'll be talking to someone in the same time zone. Overall, I highly recommend Blink cameras. For the time being I plan to continue to expand and upgrade my system. The value and ease of installation & operation are still worth it. I am still loyal to Blink.

Support is Awesome!!
Been using Bling cameras for 3+ years. Was given a couple of older generation cameras that have worked flawlessly. The app is easy to use and the system is easy to set-up. The newer XR cameras and Sync Module work great. Had a problem with one of the XR cameras, IR was not functioning. If you ever need support, go to the Blink site and use "Chat". I got immediate help and a replacement camera is on the way.

My first camera setup ever!
I got these because I don’t trust people and cameras help people to be more honest to not steal etc.Its easy to setup a kid could do it.It don’t take long to get it going plug your thing in the wall take off back of cameras scan it for each camera connect them to each other after putting batteries in.To put the batteries in the back of the cameras have a slit there’s a tool that has a fiat edge put it in there and turn it till the back comes off.You can set lights so they are off so people don’t know your recording them plus camera won’t show itself at night. You can set sensitivity so batteries last longer mine has been going for a year. They seem pretty tough durable small and lightweight. For security they are fine they come out with new features for them like to make them work further away and can add more cameras to setup memory solar panels and more.Yea if you got Amazon it don’t cost much more for the service the info saves to their server each alert tells you if it’s a person vehicle etc.You can set alerts check them on your phone anywhere.Yea you can’t beat them only matinence is change the batteries.

Great deal!
This was an exceptionally good price on this packet. I like the blink app that is used. Cameras are good and sturdy, not difficult to install
