Perfect fit to add another device to the network.
Needed a short drop for another component and this was a great fit. Cheaper than Lowrance with similar quality is just what I needed. Cable feels solid, and it isn't something I'll be plugging/unplugging regularly (if ever), so my endurance should be long. Save a few bucks.

Too fat
The connectors are too fat for a drop cable. A drop cable is the bit that runs from the backbone to the instrument or sensor. The instrument or sensor will often be in an inconvenient location in the boat. Down in the bilge or a locker for a depth sensor for instance. For that you want a finer cable with slimmer connectors. It is only carrying signals from one device.I set out to replace my depth sensor and I have a nice slim cable i got with a Lowrance sensor. It can snake through all the PVC raceway tubing to make it to the transducer just fine but it is much too long. So I bought one of these and it is just too fat. Useless. Drop cables should be slim. Backbones can be fat.Sending them back. For a high priced bit of wire, it was a huge letdown.
