ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT
The charge to the battery seems to last for ages. The sound is better than all the previous JBL speakers made for bluetooth. This is bluetooth on steroids. Yes you can play guitar through it but I use a different amp for guitar and play my backing tracks through this. When I have a bath or work upstairs I can put my laptop on downstairs and this doesn't drop out at all...great sound. So good my son has one as well...

Unbelievable value for money!
It's the best money I have spent on guitar equipment. And I've spent some money! PERFECT for practising at home and it's even up to the job of small jams. Will it hold up with a drummer in the room? No, but it's not for that. They could have charged £100 more, and I'd be happy.

Small and excellent sound
Got mine today. Running a boss gx-100 with stereo outputs into the aux socket. My home amp is now on eBay for sale. This rig for home use is as near as perfect for me. Small. Loud if required. Excellent tone. Stereo. Loads of headroom for something so small - crazy. Good price. Is there a reason not to buy one? For the price as a home rig? No. Highly recommended

Pleasantly Surprised
This is by any stretch, a good product. I play bass in a concert band where we can have up to 45 musicians. When they're at full strength, I am drowned out with this amp. However, I can well enough be heard through up to 25 other musicians in an indoor setting, including going down to the D on my 5th string, below that some of the sound just falls a bit quiet. The tone is incredible, and I have managed 1 long gig and one short carol service on one charge. So the battery holds really well. While It wouldn't gig in a pub as part of an electric set, this is a great practice amp but also a great substitute when there's reduced numbers for anyone who plays in orchestras/big bands/concert bands etc... I don't normally write reviews, but crrdit wherr it's due - This amp is perfect for the winter season this is a brilliantly portable soloution and has become an absolute essential for my winter concert gear.

Takes Some Tweaking But Can Sound Good
I bought this unit to use with a Quad Cortex for playing in the house, the fact it has a built in battery was also appealing as I run my QC off a battery too so it's hopefully going to be a decent mobile practice rig. I use it for both guitar and bass. When I first plugged it in I didn't like what I heard, even the cleanest of presets were distorting horribly, turning the input volume down didn't really help either. After an hour or so of messing about with the controls on the FRFR Go and the outputs on my QC I've managed to find thew problem and a solution... The input on the FRFR Go doesn't handle hot signals well at all. Usually I set the output from the QC to around -12dB, which seems to be fine for everything else I've used it with, this unit however seems to need it to be around -30dB, I generally output my presets at around -12dB also but this seems to need them at around -20dB. I then set the input volume on the FRFR Go to 12pm and the master volume to full (it's not a loud unit) with the EQ controls off and I've got to say it's sounding pretty nice. OK I've got to copy my presets and save them with the lower output, but that isn't the end of the world, especially given the price of the unit. One thing I am very surprised and impressed with is how well it handles bass guitar, I was extremely sceptical that 2x3" speakers would be any good, but it actually sounds fine. I can't see this unit having any chance of keeping up with a band but that's not really what it's designed for and for use in a quiet room it's great. It's compact, can handle guitar and bass and actually sounds quite nice after some tweaking. For the money it's a decent unit. The reason for the slightly mean score is the input issue, if they can sort that out then Headrush will have made an awesome product at an awesome price.

Small speakers, big sound.
A great piece of kit, I run my Sonicake Matribox Pro II through it and it sounds much better than a standard amp. There is a lot of depth to the sound whilst maintaining clarity. It was so good a brought a second one to have a stereo sound…I’m very happy with them. I use them in my house, I’ve not used them in a band setting so I don’t know how well they would work in that set up, but there is more than enough volume for home use.

Sounds great.
Brilliant bit of kit, really works well with my fx effects pedle.

Great sounding and versatile frfr speaker
Needed a lightweight frfr speaker for practise around friends and family. I have a headrush core and nano cortex which this works really well with. I would say its plenty loud for home playing, along with the stereo or TV, however will struggle in a larger room with other instruments. You can even play along with music from your phone on Bluetooth. Another great thing is the fact that this has a battery that lasts ages, so great if you're busker. Might buy another one of these to get stereo from my modeller.

Awful
Don’t know if I had a faulty unit but the sound quality using my UAFX Ruby into it was terrible. The speaker fuzzes even at low volumes, there’s way too much low end in it. I found it completely unusable. Returned for refund, still waiting for it over 2 weeks later. Terrible customer service from Amazon on this.

So good, let me count the ways...
Perfect for the living room, bedroom etc. I have 2 multi effects platforms: a Boss ME-90 and the Fender Tone Master Pro. I was considering getting the matching powered speaker for the Tone Master, but I really didn't need something that big or that loud for living room use. I saw lots of good reviews of this unit and I had it in my wish list and in my cart a few times before I finally pulled the trigger. I wish I wouldn't have waited! Pros (in no particular order): Small and light. It fits pretty much anywhere. Decently loud. Plenty enough under the hood for the average bedroom or living room rock star. Exceptional sound quality. Better than I expected. Clear. Only gets muddy if you push it too hard from your pedal. It's a great bluetooth speaker. Just as a speaker for Spotify it's great, but as a guitar learning tool it's even better. I use the Songsterr app and it just works so well. Also the initial pairing to my Samsung phone and tablet was super easy. Reconnecting is seamless. Being rechargeable is a feature I didn't think I would ever need, want or appreciate. Literally the first time I'm using it through my ME-90 (on battery power) when the power went out. I just kept on playing. Also, being able to put it anywhere in the house without worrying about having access to an outlet is nice. It looks cool. At least I think so. Cons: It's not as loud as a tube amp... but who cares, that's not what it's designed to be.

It chugs!
Nice little practice amp. I end up playing at odd places with it. Battery lasts longer than advertised at low volume. I didn’t expect much, but this little amp surprised me. Sounds is full and gets loud enough for practicing. Bluetooth works great and can’t complain about the price. I think this makes a good alternative to other portable amps. Just get a decent modeler with it.
