Perfectly paired with a Jackery 1500
Super easy install in my boyfriend's 2015 Jeep Wrangler. We have a Jackery 1500 and we did a test camp trip with the new charger. It just blew us away how well it worked. First of all, the charger is smaller than we expected (yay), and we mounted it under the rear inside cargo rack, perfectly out of the way. Normally, we get maybe 60 watts out of the 12v car outlet but with the charger we got around 400 watts. We are still figuring out the settings but should be able to get a little more than that. What a great product!

A must for multiple day camping or Overland trips!
I absolutely love this thing. Keeps my power station charged when on Overland trips. Easy installation and zero complaints!

Short term thoughts
It did exactly what I thought it should on a 8 day, 2500 mile camping trip without a single hiccup. I powered a Ecoflo Delta 2 Max and a older Opus 1200 piggybacked to it via the AC outlet. Install was relatively easy and worked from the get go. I did add a 70a fuse just behind the battery of my 2019 Tacoma, because that's the smart thing to do. My only real gripe other than that is the ridiculously short wire harness for us truck owners, however some well researched parts and some extra work fixed that oversight. Mine came missing the main power lead but a email to Bluetti had that part in my hands within a week or so. I got a deal so I pulled the trigger after a year of considering it vs. the competition and soon knew why. Almost took advantage of the V2 upgrade program but this was enough for my needs and saved the extra expense.

Good for small power outage needs and camping over night
I needed a power supply to run minor LED lighting. charge phones and tablets and run a small fan on my fireplace during a power outage. This worked very well for my purpose. I had the opportunity to actually use it this year during a power outage. No issues with operation or interface of controls, clean and straight forward. Some things to know. This comes out of the box with a standard power cord and a car cigarette lighter adapter Charging the unit through your car lighter adapter is extremely slow especially when its below freezing outside. They do make an (Alternator Charger) that will improve the time needed to charge the unit and is highly recommended.

Good Device with Limitations
Good device, but there are limitations. I own two of these, and have two uses for them. One is at home using both to connect large 12V batteries to charge power stations during extended power outages, hurricanes, etc. Basically, just to extend the life of my 3-piece power station set, which has a main unit and two of its own directly connected batteries. It works well for this use. It is my garage with relatively stable temperature, humidity, no rain, etc. Two is in my truck using a single unit mounted in the truck bed to charge a main power station unit for various use cases mostly involving camping. It works just ok for this use. These units are not dust or weather sealed in any way, so keep that in mind. Also, while the manual/website does claim a max working temperature of 140F, that is not true. That's how hot it gets in my truck bed with bed cover in the Summer, and I will tell you right now that is a no-go. Realistically, at max output (56V setting), your ambient needs to be 100F or less. I have found you need to drop about 8V output setting for ever 5F above 100F. So, at 110F ambient, you need to limit to 40V. At 115F, you need to limit to 32V. Alternatively, you can lower the max charge rate of the power station as temperature goes up. If you are only going to use this in the Winter, you should be fine. Be careful otherwise when mounted in the truck bed. Mounted in the cab will likely be better, because of the AC keeping the ambient temps lower. The cables are way too short for a full size truck with crew cab and standard bed. You will only barely make it from the battery to just inside the forward side wall of the bed. You would need at least 25 feet of cable if you want to mount near the tailgate on the sidewall. Also, the provided breaker is placed on the cable to be near the unit and not near the battery. You need to fuse/breaker near the battery to do it right. Overall, these are useful, but there are limitations that can be quite significant when mounted in a truck bed on hotter days Also, lots of trucks now come with at least a 400W inverter, so this unit is on its way to being obsolete for that use case.

Great product
Pretty much stopped using solar panels after I bought this. I'll only use solar panels on longer trips if I dont want to turn the car on. Being able to control charge speed is nice, slow to preserve battery life or to not stress alternator if low rpm.

Great device!!
This little charger works miracles… and im an Atheist!! 😜 Seriously, installing this unit took 4 months of careful study to find the right place for the hole in my Astro van (and to work up the courage to drill my only vehicle!)… but yours will probably go better! Modern vans put the battery under the seats 😄 The AMAZING PART is how well it works! I can drain my power station down to 75% and this little champ can recharge it on SIX MILES OF DRIVING! Astonishingly, I can recharge my 1,200 Wh power stations from near zero in just 1.5 hours, It’s small, well made, has very well manufactured cables and a BIG SWITCH to stop any draining of your vehicle battery! Paired with branded products, the DC to DC conversion is solid, even on my 21 yr old van! It doesn’t even WEIGH MUCH! What a brand! What a product! Just BUY ONE!!

Bluetti quality and great app integration
Should start by saying that I have used this a total of 1 time so far. A couple of things led me to purchase this Charger 1 from Bluetti. Firstly, I have a Bluetti Elite 200 v2 and have been very happy with the quality, the fit and finish and more importantly, the app. I am a Victron fan, like a big Victron fan, for years. I swear by their stuff, and the App support is a huge part of why. One really nice thing with Victron (or anyone's products really) is integration and or interoperability. I read good things about this with Bluetti Charger 1 and 2, so decided to take the plunge. Out of the box, this comes with a very nice wiring harness. Like very well made and clean. I was already wired for a DC to DC setup for my camper, so I did not need to use the Bluetti harness, I only used the circuit breaker and breaker > Charger 1 cable. Install is simple for anyone with some experience in 12v or Marine/Auto wiring. If you have no experience but are handy around the tools, there are VERY good videos out there on how to install this, like lots of them. Anyhow, I wired it up, connected it to my truck and tested it. Connected to the Bluetti app right away, and updated the firmware/OS to the current version. Seems to work great, and is a good edition to the truck to support the 12v fridge and lights etc. Maybe even an espresso maker, because you know it is not overlanding without espresso shots in the AM. (kidding, sort of). Pros: - Small size for the Charger 1 - Fit and finish is excellent - App integration with other Bluetti devices - Function and charge ability - Excellent harness (very nice quality) Cons: - Fiddly Allen-key terminal connectors - Cost? Would I recommend this product... maybe, or it depends. If you have your needs, demands and power requirements for your system planned out and this output suits you, great. Otherwise there is the Charger 2 with much higher output (and cost) that may be what you need. For a smaller system you should be VERY happy with this unit. As a supplemental power device, say as a secondary to Solar, it is pretty cool... for the size, price and function. Why did I not choose Victron... cost mostly. Their new gen DC to DC is small, similar to the Bluetti Charger 1, but it is around $250 more, so that was a real consideration for me this time around. The older DC to DC charger is huge, like VERY bulky... and about the same price as the Bluetti. Plus I would need to run 2 apps for one system. App integration, for my entire power system for this build in one app... priceless.

If you have the bluetti charge1 , you do not need solar panel !!!!!!!!
1. The item arrived very quickly after ordering. 2. It was easy to install in my camper van. 3. The Bluetti Charger 1 includes: charging cables, installation tools, and mounting bolts, which made the installation very convenient. I especially want to highlight the charging cables—they are exceptionally good. 4. After installation, the performance has been great. During the hot summer, I set it to 27V to keep my generator safer. In winter, I plan to increase it to 35V. It’s very convenient to control via the mobile app. 5. DC-to-DC chargers usually get very hot, but the Bluetti Charger 1 performs excellently—I no longer have to worry about overheating. 6. With the Bluetti Charger 1, my power needs for long trips are fully met. I’ve even given up on installing expensive solar panels. 7. The first unit I received was an open-box item, and the cables showed signs of use. After I contacted customer service, they quickly sent me a brand new unit—very efficient service. Big thanks to their after-sales support! Thank you.
