Impressive Fitness Tracker for the Price
Bought the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active in pink and I'm genuinely impressed with what you get for the money. The 1.47-inch display is bright, clear, and easy to read, while the 60Hz refresh rate makes navigating the menus feel smooth and responsive. The setup process was straightforward, and it connected to my phone without any issues. Notifications come through reliably, and the health tracking features, including sleep monitoring and activity tracking, provide useful insights throughout the day. Battery life has been excellent. After several days of use, the battery percentage had barely moved, so I can easily believe the advertised long battery life with normal use. There are plenty of sports modes available, and the band is comfortable enough to wear all day and overnight for sleep tracking. The pink colour looks great and gives it a more stylish appearance than many fitness trackers in the same price range. Overall, it's a feature-packed fitness tracker that offers excellent value for money. Very happy with the purchase and would happily recommend it.

Love this Device - Battery life incredible
I searched extensively for a Fitness Tracker to replace my FitBit when its battery died. I was looking at all the main well known brands but was hesitant to spend so much money. Eventually I opted for this watch and I have been absolutely delighted with it. The battery life is incredible, it literally lasts weeks even with daily wear and using the GPS tracker function. This used to drain my FitBit battery really fast. It tracks workouts well and the interface and operation is clear and easy. I don’t tend to use the App much. For my needs which is mainly to track dog walks and length / intensity of lifting weights at home its perfect. Really pleased for the price!

Low cost simple good battery
Very simple to set up. Basic functions, great for tracking steps, heart rate etc. Disconnected once where I had to reset but otherwise so far so good

Invasive (Wants Access to EVERYTHING) And Quit Working
Stopped working within a day; after about 18 hours on my wrist (including 6-7 while I was asleep) the swiping menu stopped doing anything other than bringing up my audiobook and pausing it. I had used it several times that day to measure my heart rate during my "workouts" (housework) and was very pleased to learn I'd burned 1,000+ Calories throughout my little afternoon workouts. Then, I swiped (as I'd done at least 5 times by then) and it brought up my audiobook. And I swiped... and there was my audiobook. And there was my audiobook. Again and again and again. I could swipe away from my audiobook to a sort of homescreen, but the "start workout" screen no longer exists, apparently. My options are: pause or play my audiobook, fiddle with settings, or nothing. Measuring my heart rate? Nope. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but no. All the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active wants to do now is interrupt my book before I discover who will prevail on the Pelennor Fields (of course I know who prevails, that's not the point, the point is lugging 10-15 kg piles of wet laundry to and fro for hours every damn day is BORING and I want to measure my heart rate without interrupting my book; books are often my only solace in the mindless, endless drudgery sometimes known as "women's work"). I hate smart watches. I hate smart rings. I hate fitness apps. I hate QR codes and phone cameras and EVERY PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY that breaks, is buggy, or even glitches slightly within its first year of use. I'll buy a new fitness tracker, because my sleep is terrible (due to STRESS and SHODDY TECHNOLOGY probably) and I need to keep an eye on that and on my housework cardio (so I don't overdue it). But I resent needing to buy a new tracker. I resent it MIGHTILY and I'm judging you, Xiaomi Smart Band 9. PS The watch wants permissions for literally every app or function on your phone. I hated that, too--but I'd have put up with it, if the fitness tracking hadn't randomly disappeared.

Really impressed and happy with my purchase 🩷
Really impressed with this watch and the app so far! It's a nice looking watch, good screen and custom watch faces dare a great touch. Being able to see my sleep pattern and the accuracy of it was really good. I wore it today well at the hospital and check my heart rate and oxygen via the watch + hospital machine and it was accurate the 3 times I done it. The photo doesn't do it justice but I've just had surgery and can't be bothered 😂. I've bought some extra straps and screen protectors and it's lovely. I love it, I've had loads of smart watches over the years and I've got to say this is my favourite so far! The price is crazy as well, I can't believe how cheap it is. Also looks so cute and a great shape.

Great tracker, let down by a poorly designed strap
This band works really well and does everything I wanted — sleep monitoring, activity tracking, all of it. Setup was quick and easy, connecting to my Xiaomi phone in seconds. Design-wise, it looks great: subtle, sporty, and robust. It doesn't feel bulky or flashy, and it's clearly built for active use. Unfortunately, it's badly let down by the strap. The clasp comes undone 3 to 6 times a day, which is a real problem for a fitness tracker you're supposed to be able to rely on during workouts or throughout the day. It's frustrating, because everything else about the device is excellent, and I'm not sure how much longer I can put up with it. If Xiaomi fixed the strap design, this would be a 5-star product. As it stands, I can only give it 3 because a tracker that won't stay on your wrist doesn't fully do its job.

Great Product!
Great quality! Beautiful! There are so many function included that I don't think I have discovered them all. One caveat, the documentation is tiny and not easy to understand. I would not recommend this watch to someone who was not tech-friendly.

The software lets the product down
Okay, so just over 4 months with this device and growing irritations have prompted a review Positives: Initial battery life was fantastic - can't remember exactly but was in excess of 20 days. Great. Not getting such great battery life 4 months in but that mey be due to some setting changes I've made (always on display for example). GUI takes a bit of getting used to, some things I'd find - such as the walking app - but not be able to find again. Happily, I now know where to find that! The tracker/watch (I *think* of it as a watch with features) shows a host of data - such as heart rate, distance travelled etc and also displays a 'map' of where you have been. [How it does this when it loses GPS signal is beyond me]. Negatives: A growing list I'm afraid. Watch/tracker (I think of it as a watch as I wear it like one so will refer to it as a watch in this review) keeps telling me that it doesn't have a GPS signal and to move outdoors to an open space - only this happens when I'm on my daily walk on a residential street or even in a farmer's field! Not sure if this is a fault as it didn't do this initially but it seems to be happening more frequently recently. Secondly, the time is now off by 3 minutes - but trying to change the time has led me down a rabbit hole. You can't do it on the watch itself, Oh no! You have to use the Mi Fitness app on your phone. In my case I had a Smart Band 4c previously (still have it but don't use it) and the app wants to connect to that. The Smart Band 9 also appears - but with no connect button. Simple eh - remove the old device - except there isn't an option to do this in the app (at least as far as I can see). Finally, I try to remove the app from my phone and re-install - but it then won't accept my username/password. No problem, I try to create a new account, only it wants a mobile number and already has '+86' at the start but this is greyed out and won't accept '+44' for the UK. Delete, reinstall app, make sure I have selected 'United Kingdom' as the country and try again, *STILL* have '+86' for the country code. So, from an initial problem of the watch having a time discepancy of 3 mins, I have managed to fail to delete the old Band 4c, failed to connect to the Smart Band 9, delete and reinstall the app three times - each time failing to gain access to my account (or even set up a new account). Just short of an hour before I tried to change the time on my watch, I finally have access to my Xaomi account - but I still haven't managed to (a) delete the old device as the instructions to do so don't match what I see in the app and (b) i still haven't managed to change the time on the watch. See what I men about a rabbit hole? Aside from deleting the old device in the app (which I cant do as the instructions to do so don't match what I see), an alternative set of instructions tell me to do so online in my account - but I can't do that either as neither the old Band 4c device or new Band 9 appear in the list of devices! The watches/trackers may be okay but the software associated with them is absolute garbage. I started writing this review giving the device 2 stars - but after all the frustrations above, this is now 1 star. Oh, and did I mention the stupid silicone strap that is (almost) impossible to fasten? The loop that keeps the end of the strap from flapping around moves whilst trying to fasten the strap only to virtally refuse to move so that you can adjust it when the strap is tighter on your wrist and the stupid 'pin & hole' design of the latch is annoying beyond description. The whole product stinks of something designed by an idiot that hasn't *actually* used the product they've designed in order to recognise the problems (and the even more monumentally stupid management that signed the whole thing off). The product, when it works is great and much cheaper than alternatives however the software - be it the software on he device, the app on the phone or the website - lets the whole thing down. UPDATE: App or watch (can't remember which) said there was an update available. Downloaded and applied the update and magically, the time is now correct. Also, on my walk this morning, it didn't tell me that I hadn't got a GPS signal when I was outdoors! So a couple of issues resolved? The jury is still out on that one! Based on these two irritations being sorted for now, rating increased to 2 stars.
