Doesn’t work :(
I checked to make sure my radio was compatible JVC KW AVX800 but it doesn’t work. I installed myself and when I plug in the aux sound doesn’t come out. I made sure I pressed external in the sound menu.

Older JVC Stereo Compatible
Sound quality is great and cable seems to be good quality. No problems with installation after following the instructions to enable the port. This will not work in some JVC stereos if you do not enable the port as an AUX input in the menu.

Works perfect with my JVC stereo!
My audio selection has become a lot better in my truck now because I have this auxiliary input. It was a super easy installation with my JVC stereo - it just plugs right in the back. I drilled a little hole in the stereo caddy for the auxiliary plug to come through and now I can hook it up to my smart phone and stream pandora, my cloud drive, or movies through my trucks speaker system! The actual cord is really thick and durable so it should last a long time. If you were thinking about buying this - if it is compatible with your JVC stereo you won't regret it!

Works like it should for much less than the factory cable
Works perfectly and is much cheaper than the factory cable. It also does not have the added box of the factory cable which is just one more thing to hide behind the dash, All good,

Easy Installation
Easy to install and works great with my i-Pad mini and i-Pod classic. Good value for the price and much less than what I looked at a few years ago.

Cable end matched JVC socket
Not much to say except that this cable worked as advertised. The molded connector for attaching the cable to the JVC receiver fit just as it should. I used this cable to attach an XM receiver to the radio, and it seems to function well. It gets me away from the FM broadcast option for inputting to your radio. There always seems to be a local station somewhere that overpowers the XM transmitter.

exactly what I needed
I ordered this because my 3.5mm input jack on the jvc car stereo deck was putting through very muddy/distorted sound. I tried many different things but nothing improved the sound. So, I searched for another way to play my mp3 player through my car stereo without having to use a radio transmitter/receiver combination, (I've tried those before and don't think they're worth it). This cable enables me to play through the external input and the sound is great. I could not be more happy/satisfied with this purchase.
