Ideal for Apple Pie
I tried this straight out of the bag and it is pretty good. Not quite as sweet tasting as white sugar but is still sweet with a apple flavor and a hint of cinnamon. The grains are quite large as you can see from my pictures. I did also try this on some homemade donuts. It was good but little too crunchy for donuts in my opinion. BUT... if you like those sprinkles on donuts then you're gonna love this too. I will reserve this sugar for apple pies.... this is PERFECT for pies. The bag really isn't big enough to use in baking recipes but for those pies...it is a winner.
