Really good pill dispenser. Very soft so very easy to manipulate a tablet into it. Dog takes it as a treat and seems to like the taste. I bought the larger ones as he has multiple tablets but I would just break off a piece for the smaller tablets when needed, so the size is good. Really effective.

Can't fault this product. I have to give a medication in a capsule so I empty it out into the well at the top of the treat and just mix it in. Gets eaten first time every time.

These treats are a great option if you have any trouble getting medication into your pup and don't have the option to mash it up into their food for any reason. The treats smell very meaty and are quite large. They are designed with a hole in the middle where you can simply put the tablet and feed it to the dog. I personally like to put the tablet inside and then squish the treat up a bit to better hide the tablet so my dog can't see it (they're very soft and squishy so it's easy to do this). If the tablets are very large, you could use two treats put together to disguise the tablet completely - but be aware they are pretty high in calorie content so daily use might easily contribute to weight gain. When they arrived, my dog wanted to test them right away and after being suspicious of the first one, wolfed it down whole then asked for another, so I think it's safe to say they seem to be tasty - as I said, they smell very meaty and not in a bad way. I've also tried them with tablets inside of course (he takes daily allergy medicines in summer months) and he didn't really notice the tablet at all. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the price - it's extortionate to think anyone could afford two very small bags at £29.99 on any kind of regular basis - and given how small the bags actually are, there aren't very many in a full bag to begin with as the treats are large. It really is an investment to make, not to mention an expensive risk if your dog tends to be clever about knowing when treats/food have tablets inside. Included in the pack is a tiny taster treat of some chicken jerky and a magnet featuring the brand 'AETN' logo which whilst a nice touch, does not sweeten the price at all or make the bundle any more value for money.

I worm my two dogs with tablets every 3 months and trying to get each of them to swallow the pill is horrendous! It always results in a goopy mess and i end it with more of the spat out bits on me than in the dogs! I have tried hiding the pills in cheese, biscuits you name it, but they always spit it back out! I have looked for alternative working solutions such as liquids but to no avail, it appears oral liquid is only available for puppies. When i came across this product i didn't have high hopes and thought it would be the same as my previous efforts, however i was delighted when both dogs eat the treats with the tablet inside. My older dog is not silly and managed to find the whole tablet and spit that out after the finished eating the treat, so i tried again by breaking the tablet into quarters, this time she eat the lot!! Yes it's more treats than i would like to give her, but equally once every 3 months i can live with if she will swallow the pill. The younger dog didn't spit any out and just munched on the treat swallowing the pill in halves. The treats are fairly soft so can be moulded around the pill to hide it. If you have dogs like mine who won't take their medication/worming tablets then this product is a god send!! I do think they are hugely overpriced for what they are, but if it keeps my dog safe and well then it's a price i would be willing to pay!
