This book has tabs and exercises that get the absolute beginner playing straight away. From basic chords to familiar chord progressions and riffs from rock favourites. Challenging enough to keep a beginner developing but not so hard that your student feels out of their depth.Good selection of music too.

As always Hal Leonard uses authentic musical examples. There are lots of classic riffs and snap-shots in here for the improver to intermediate player. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners but if you have been playing a couple of years or so you should get the benefit from this book.
