A friend gifted me her old broken laptop a while back because I like to tinker. Once I got it up and running with Windows 10, it only had capability for the 2.4Ghz band. However, when I upgraded to fiber and a WiFi 7 router, I could no longer connect at all. This is just a "play" machine for me so I wanted the smallest, simplest, quickest fix to get this online. This WiFi 6 Adapter works perfectly! Due to its wonderful mini size and no visible antennae, I was concerned it might not work very well, but I've been all over the house to the furthest point from the router and it's been flawless. The box is labeled BrosTrend AX900. All you have to do is plug it in and find the setup, should it not automatically pop up. I was looking for something that said BrosTrend or AX900. Don't make my mistake. Read the very clear, included directions. I didn't. The name to find is actually "AIC" for the company, possibly "Advanced Industrial Computer" or even WiFi 6. If you don't have, or need, the latest WiFi standard, which I think is 802.11be, this AX adapter is great and so compact. I gravitate more to wired computing, so admittedly, I'm not as experienced with wireless, but I do have to wonder why are those other USB adapters I've seen so big with those huge protruding antennas when this is so tiny and works so well!!!

Ich kann ihn problemlos stecken lassen, auch wenn ich den Laptop mal in die Tasche packe.Die Installation war einfach. Der Adapter wurde sofort erkannt, und die Treiberinstallation war in wenigen Minuten erledigt – Einfach Plug-and-Play. Wichtig zu erwähnen: Der Stick ist nur für Windows-Nutzer, Mac und Linux werden nicht unterstützt. Für mich kein Problem, aber für Mac-Nutzer sicher ein Punkt, den man bedenken sollte.Dank WiFi 6-Technologie erlebe ich im Vergleich zum verbauten, schon älteren WLAN Modul im Laptop, deutlich stabilere Verbindungen. Funktionen wie OFDMA und MU-MIMO verbessern die Leistung, besonders wenn viele Geräte gleichzeitig im Netzwerk aktiv sind. Dadurch bleibt meine Verbindung stabil und schnell, selbst wenn im Haus mehrere Geräte auf das Netzwerk zugreifen.FazitFür mich ist dieser WLAN-Stick eine klare Empfehlung. Er bietet sehr gute Leistungen für seinen Preis und ist angenehm kompakt.

Molto versatile nel suo utilizzo, facilmente installabile il software al suo interno lo rende semplicissimo nel suo utilizzo anche su più pc. Costo contenuto e le prestazioni sono discrete quasi paragonabili a wifi con antenne esterne. Nel complesso il prezzo vale la chiavetta acquisto valido.

Parfait pour Windows 7

I was hoping this would be faster than my existing adapter but it was not. Doing a speed test showed the same results. The main difference was that this WIFI adapter was not exactly plug and play. Once I plugged it in it ran like it was a USB thumb drive and I had to install a program manually before it would give me wifi options. The other issue I had was it was a really tight fit in the usb port but that may not be bad just different. Over all I ended up sticking with what I had. This one was fine and will do the job I will just hang on to it as a back up when needed.
