These treats are great for my elderly cat with kidney disease, and he loves them. However, I received a variety pack instead of just the chicken formula.

My cat loved the taste
I had to keep finding new lickable treats for my cat the last 3 months because he would stop eating them. He loved these though up until he passed on. I like that it wasn't the same tuna and salmon flavors, even though one of the flavors was chicken he still like this brand better than other brands of chicken flavor.

My cat said meh...
My cat is a bottomless pit. Likes everything, even many things that don't get great reviews on here. That's why I was so surprised that he didn't go for this. A few licks of this & he was not the least bit interested. I did try several times thinking he might not have been hungry, but no such luck. I'm sure some cats going to like it, just not mine... He looked at me & just gave me the meh face. It's kinda the equivalent of the human resting @#$%! face...I'm not buying this again.
