The FloraLife Crystal Clear Liquid Flower Food deserves 10 stars! This stuff is FABULOUS! My daughter and I are planning to DIY the flowers for her wedding (she worked for a florist for several years and knew what we needed to order), so we did a trial run with flowers for her bridal tea, and we used this for the water in the mini-vases and other vase arrangements. Over a week later, the water is CRYSTAL clear, no water needed to be added, nothing was refreshed. I did this on purpose to see what would happen. There is no discoloration in the faces, and the flowers are looking tired but OK -- I normally would adjust them during the week to make them look really good, but I left these to see what they would look like! This product is what you need for event florals -- it really works. I opted for the liquid; it's a bit pricey but worth every penny. My mistake was not calculating how many gallons this bottle made -- I needed more -- but I was able to buy some at my local florist. I recommend this; it helps make flowers last, and I already ordered more for the wedding arrangements.

9/27/2018 Edit: I think this was just not compatible with those flowers that I first used it on or perhaps something was wrong with those flowers. I've continued to use it ever since whenever I have fresh flowers and it works great! Makes most of my flowers last close to a week in a vase. I've used it with roses, lily, peonies, etc. The residue near the cap does turn brown and crusty and sticky which is a bit off putting but the product works well. And I am still on my first bottle so it does not seem to go bad quickly. ------------- This didn't make my flowers last longer and even seemed to drain the color from them, making them go from pink to white or even dark purple to white! Very disappointed, based on all the positive reviews I thought this would work wonders. I will give it a couple more tries with different flowers I suppose, and hope it does a better job.

Your cut flowers will last a lot longer with this flower food. I have used it for all types of plants: flowers from bulbs, shrubs and perennials, and greenery. Most of the cut flowers I have used this for have lasted at least a week, with some lasting several days longer. Since it's liquid, it's easier to mix than the powder flower food. The water will remain clear, even with our well water. It's a good size and will last you a while.

Complete rip off for the size. Biggest regret.
