Hard Wax Beads for Sensitive Skin – Acai Berry, Stripless Waxing Beads for Face & Body Hair Removal, 8 oz

I am in love with these SLIICK wax removal beads—the ones shaped like gummy bears. For context, I’ve previously used Wakse and really liked their products. The colors and scents are beautiful, but I always needed multiple passes and extra work to fully remove hair. With SLIICK, the difference was immediate. I use a wax melting pot (not the microwave), and I did notice I had to turn the temperature up a bit higher initially to get the gummy bears to melt. Once melted, I turned the temp back down to around 164°F, and the wax stayed at a perfect consistency—smooth, easy to apply, and not runny. What really sold me: • It hardens quickly • One pass removed most, if not all, of the hair • I only did a second pass in the opposite direction just to be thorough With just two passes, I was able to completely clean up an entire area—something that took noticeably more effort with my previous wax. Bottom line: SLIICK requires less work, fewer passes, and gives better results. While Wakse has pretty good products, SLIICK performs better for me, hands down. This is officially my new go-to wax, and I don’t see myself switching anytime soon.

Smells great. Leaves me smooth, comes off good!

I used to buy pretty much any wax I could find on Amazon and would get the job done, but one day I needed wax ASAP and this was the only brand available at a local shop. After trying it, I never wanted to use anything else! It gets the job done effortlessly with no difficulties or breakage. It applies smoothly, works really well, and has been my go-to ever since. HIGHLY recommend!

This is my go to brand and I do my own waxes. It melts well, grips the hair well without too many passes. I loveeee the colors.

What a surprise- it worked! First, the bears are the cutest things and I wish they were edible because they smell so yummy. But they melt beautifully and are easy to apply. I had some redness after waxing, but my skin is very sensitive. I’m so relieved that I finally found a wax that works on me (it even works on my legs!)

Beads melt ok—stir periodically while microwaving, scent is light/not too strong, goes on smooth, can get stringy put pulls off easily with minimal breaking. Colors are fun to mix & match, hardened wax in tub can be reheated later for future use.

So far so good. It works great.

Using these was difficult, messy and painful. Admittedly it was my first time waxing, and that's probably just the waxing experience in general. But I'm still giving these one star because I was drawn in by the candy colors and promise of fun fruity scents. These smell terrible - like melted plastic (even before warming). There is not even a hint of fruity scent under the plastic stench. I'm not sure how they can even call these wax - the first ingredient is rosin (ok but not actually wax), and the second is Ethylene/VA Copolymer, which sounds an awful lot like plastic to me. Also, saying it is "gentle on skin" is a straight up lie, considering the instructions say to use your palm to calm the skin, then apply oil to soothe the skin.

En escala de 1-10 el dolor que genera al depilar zonas sensibles es un 1 o máximo 2, huele rico la cera, endurece rápido y no necesitas stripes. Le doy 4 estrellas porque no retira todo el vello (aprox un 80-90% sí retira, aún con 2 aplicaciones en la misma zona no depila al 100%). Pero en general buena compra, la volvería a pedir.
