How well would this hair dye show up on dark blond hair? Thanks for your help I really appreciate it!!! :-)

I have mousey light brown and gray it comes out many light blonde shades... I use 10.1 or 10.0 whichever but I prefer 10.1 hope this helps you...I love it...

can I bleach my hair before using this product

Yes. The color will probably look more vivid, however. My hair is very dark brown and is only vivid in sunlight. If your hair is bleached first the color well be visible a lot more indoors

How long does the color usually last for?

This hair color lasts longer than most over the counter hair colors. I color about every 5 to 6 weeks (with the 6r color). By then the greys are just starting to show. It doesn't fade too bad (using a color friendly shampoo helps with fading). This is the only haircolor that I use, I LOVE it!!!
