What else matters? The cat loves this thing for whatever reason as others have shown and pictured. She went to it immediately, scratches on it, lays on it, bites it, uses it for a pillow, etc. It's quite amusing actually and seems pretty attractive to a kitty for some reason! We're very happy with it because we've had it a couple months now and it's holding up well and she still uses it often. Great product!!! Affordable, etc.

Like, words can't describe how simultaneously protective/possessive/obsessive/straight up bananas she is for this. I've never seen her act like this with a scratcher: she treats it more like a toy, lifting and bunny-kicking it, dragging it around, then face-rubbing and chomping it--its ridiculous. I pick it up to sweep under it--she stands on her hind legs yowling and reaching for it like she's terrified I won't give it back. I don't even have to put catnip on it, she acts like the whole THING is catnip. Irritating thing: Because of the differing style of cardboard and the fact that it's not in a retaining box, the little shreds Get. Fricking. EVERYWHERE!! From the very first day, we had to allocate a special corner for this to go because of the inevitable daily mess. (And I mean like, seriously: EVERYWHERE. I literally found a bit in my *soup* once. Like...how the !@$!&"! does that even HAPPEN..?? It shreds (and then resultingly, sheds) like CRAZY, then she tracks the little paper bits all over so it's like, sand when you leave the beach: in our bed, in the shower...) All that being said, I'm obvs going to keep buying these for her because I am totally kitty-whipped and it makes her so unbelievably gleeful to wreck this thing to death. (It's held up longer than I expected, too--like 3 months, longer than some she's had.) I expect it's just made from a type of cardboard that's a lot softer than regular corrugated, hence the mess--but also, likely, hence her insane fascination. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Eh. Indoor cats don't really have a lot going on, so finding something that makes her this happy is, for me, definitely worth it.

Was a bit small, but my cat loved it. It was sturdy. Lasted for months. My cat really enjoyed scratching on it. It was nice it came with a small pack of catnip.

Bought this to keep my cat from scratching up vinyl album covers and it works great! He loves it and hasn't scratched the albums or couch since I put this in the living room. I do have to vacuum up bits of cardboard regularly and don't think it'll last more than a couple months, but that's no big deal to me. I'll just buy another one as necessary.

I got the white flat version of the scratcher because I saw a few reviews of the 'wave' shape that they topple more easily and some cats were put off by that. Unfortunately, the only flat version is a size medium, and it's pretty small! Especially for $10. TJ Maxx has these for $4.99! This should at least be bigger, this is kitten size.

My cat absolutely loves this thing. It’s cheap, a good size without being huge, and cats love it. It doesn’t last too long at our house, but that’s due to heavy scritching and use. The downside is that it does create a mess of shredded cardboard from time to time, but it’s understandable. This is our second one in the past 6 months.

I bought two of these, one for each cat. They love using them. So far the scratchers haven't fallen apart. And the cats are apparently satisfied with sharpening their claws on the scratchers, since they've stopped scratching everything else (which they knew they weren't supposed to do, but seemed unable to resist.). I hope this lasts. I'm willing to buy more when they're needed as long as the cats continue to use them, even though I think the price could be a little lower. So far, the scratchers have been in use about 4 weeks. The catnip is a nice addition, but wasn't necessary to continued use of the scratchers after the initial introduction.

I first liked their cheap price. But the cardboard inside is very light. The cat exploded it in one day. Other brands we had lasted longer. The catnip they provide doesn’t smell or attract cats compared to other brands. I likely won’t buy it again

It came unlike the picture, all of the edges and somewhere it the middle was cut that it made a hole. Don't buy it!
