Great story
The writing needs work as it is fraught with glaring errors which were not edited out. That said, I’d read his other works.

THE MESSAGE
# Follow… د المطلب ابن هاشم (Abū al-Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim) or just call him, “Muhammad,” an evil madman and lunatic straight to into HELL…# No-peace-upon-him as the doctrine of hatred a web of such deception that only Satan could have invented Islam to destroy all of humankind by proselyting themselves on woven rugs spreading their heresy up to our Heavenly Father and poison the plant earth.Complicated isn’t it to understand this insanity and why is it so confusing, perhaps by evil intent? Such is the thesis of SATAN who so reins over earth to harm, kill and destroy God’s chosen people by the hand of a false and illiterate so-called prophet along with his self-grandees appointed pagan deity called, “Allāh;” to carry out Satan’s evil and instruct the condemned souls with such foolishness as they desire death for Allāh according to Satan’s plan with the promise of a Jihad and to reap the rewards of the 72-virgins. What about the Eves of Islam? Who’s waiting in paradise for these blindly cloaked women who have been diminished to sex slaves on earth for the black hooded Adams’ to carry out their caliphate? Whose grandiose plan is it for this ends of days they so desire? Who’s going to prevail on earth as it is in heaven and who’s forever consigned to the fires of HELL, lest we forget to believe by loss of our faith?A vision came to me in a dream of my moments stood still in time with the beginnings of days until the ends of time. There was Adam and Eve; a magicka belief of Islam were of God’s human creation, who’ve so fell from grace by sin, expelled from paradise by the temptation of Satan. There was Noah; a righteous man built an ark to begin again after the great flood by Thy Wrath against the godlessness of pagan worship, again by the hand of Satan. Then God delivered the promise of hope with a rainbow. There was Abraham; father of two nations and chosen by God. Then came forth by Abraham’s seed, Ishmael from Hagar with the blessing to prosper of other nations. Then came forth by Abraham’s seed, Isaac from Sarai; child of promise begotten for the chosen people, spared from sacrifice to bring forth the new Lamb of promise. There was Moses; “I Am,” said He, “I Am.” Moses obeyed and the first born male Jewish slaves of Egypt were spared at Passover and freed for 40 years’ times 40 more to live by God’s Commandants of the Covenant until Prophets proclaimed the Son of Man would bring forth the promise and to be saved by Grace. Yeshua; Son of Man, Lamb of God came forth until the day and time of the end of days in a blink of an eye to fulfil His promise and like a Lion to defeat Satan’s chain of evil on 2/3’s of all mankind for salvation of the remaining and righteous third, for: “I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.” Ezekiel 25:17. Yeshua was and is Perfect forever without end. Past-present Muhammad, self-proclaimed slave and messenger to a spurious pagan god named Allāh, was purveyor of the nations of Islam and by the translation of Islam is “submission” to Allāh’s and their jointly evil whims to oppress lost souls and bring forth the antichrist to condemn their ilk to the gates of HELL for their final end without beginning. “Taqiyya,” Islamic principle of lying for the sake of Allāh is okay by Satan who is so perfectly happy by this deception because he wrote and created the Qur’an with a fake god in mind to replace the Torah and attempt to destroy the fulfillment of the New Covenant by Grace such as the hoax of the gospel of Barnabas. Satan enlisted Muhammad to follow this sham willingly by greed and conquest. Then Muhammad appointed himself as Allāh’s “holy” messenger to further corrupt, suppress and torment humankind for satanical whims of earthly things while the sado-submissives head-to-toe in pajamas raise their offensive stink up to heaven five times a day with their repetitive and hollow Muslim prayers without beginning or end. What’s the point of all of this madness of a 1400-year-old occult that still thrives? Why not? Satan exists and thrives to despise God’s creation and he is forever consigning the lost souls by man’s freewill to the depths of the lake fires in HELL.

Great book
Enjoyable but scary book. It shows how a pretty simple plan can spell disaster during a terrorist attack.

The good, the bad and the ugly
1. This writeup doesn't know what it is.Where this writing tries to be a novel, it is more like a clinical strategy prediction.Where it tries to be a survey of predictive strategy it is more like a novellette. It lacks the character development and moving prose of a good novel, and it is far too wordy to be a national review article. It tries to do both and does neither well.2. The writing tries to bring home to us in the US, what it might be like to be a Christian people-group with a history back to the Byzantine Empire who now finds themselves a minority with their land encircled and controlled and oppressed by ISIS. It does it by fictionally bringing ISIS to the US for a day of terror. The writing appears to be trying to sound the alarm to the Roman-Christian Westerners in the US. We Westerners have a 1700 year history of schism with Eastern Christianity and, more poignantly, 1300 years of ignoring the sufferings of the Eastern Christians under the yoke and darkness of Islam. This work brings medieval Islam to the US for a day to wake us up.The writing openly and simplistically takes shots at the liberal, atheistic worldview that seems surprised by evil, the Neville Chamberlain peace through compromisers, the inconsistent Darwinists who believe in survival of the fittest somehow doesn't apply to humans in the modern era, and the pacifists with Heinlein's shifty dogma, “Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accept the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay-and claims a halo for his dishonesty.”It is strongly pro-second amendment using crafted stories to not-so-subtly lobby for the need today for an armed militia. That will appeal to its target audience.3. Shocking and graphic? If these contents are shocking then you are willfully ignorant or naive. If you find them graphic and hard to read, then you are blessed to still have a tender heart in a world that has some terrible neighborhoods.Any evangelical Christian who has any contacts with any honest, truthful Middle Eastern Christian refugees will tell you far worse stories than contained in this micro-tome.Anyone who as relatives sent to Iraq who have been in the thick of the frontline should not be surprised by this novel.I believe that the primary audience of this novelette is probably not shocked by what they read.3. why the good review?I hope it awakens a sense of the suffering that the Kurds and the Christians and scientists, and minorities are experiencing under ISIS.They love their children just as much as we love ours; and theirs have suffered much, much more than this book could ever convey. Many folks might read a fictional work like this, with some character development over a 3 page clinical, predictive article in National Review or National Interest. So it does reach more of an audience.4. Why not a great review?I'd rather just read the article in three pages rather than the novelette. It took too much time to read it, even thought it was short.Recommendation: read it.

Politicians, law enforcement, school security officer and school boards need to read this book.
Being in the security field, this book gave me one heck of a nightmare. Having served in military operations for 20 years, the scenario presented is plausible even just with a single team. Frankly I think the author gives too much luck to the terrorist because they would have encountered a much stiffer resistance on the highways

A visceral violent, if somewhat short telling of America's worst nightmare
This is the first book of William R Forstchen's I have read and there's no doubt the man can write an interesting and engaging narrative. His scenario of multiple Isis cells striking terror at the heart of America's high school educational system all over the country is a scenario one can easily imagine happening and feels all too plausible. Told primarily from the perspective of two parents, one of whom teaches at the school, the book also argues strongly that teachers should be able to carry firearms on school grounds. I'll let others argue the merits of that. Forstchen sketches his primary characters fairly thinly and wastes no time getting into the scenario and once there the story does race along at a cracking pace. I read the entire novel in two sittings, so for a good quick read if this subject interests you then look no further. I felt though that the book fell short of my own expectations and that I am sure is down to personal taste, so take my criticism with a pinch of salt but I thought the story could have been told from a wider perspective and wanted more depth to some of the characters. I wasn't as emotionally invested in the leading characters as I wanted to be and the book would have lost nothing in showing us how American would have struggled to cope and what the practical response of the US military would have been in such a scenario. Yes, this is covered to some extent but I would have preferred to have had one or two characters embedded within various response teams to illustrate in more detail just how complex responding to such an event would have been. Sure to some extent we get this in a few brief paragraphs but I wanted more perspectives from characters such as a local chief of police and a greater insight into how the various mechanisms of the White House would have reacted. I felt the book could have told a much wider story in the same way the late Tom Clancy gave us a whole plethora of different perspectives in his book 'Red Storm Rising.' Here the perspective is a very small and personal one told primarily from one family and while there is nothing wrong with that it didn't feel for me as gripping nor in depth as it could have been. I would have happily read a much longer book on this subject. The terrorists themselves are very thinly drawn with nothing to tell us why any individual one of them was motivated to commit such an act but Forstchen, rightly, has pointed the finger at the older Cleric characters that always convince young men to do the killing for them. All that said I am certain the author here achieved his own objectives outlying a very plausible terror scenario on American soil which pulls no punches regarding the violent outcome of such an event. I just would have liked to have seen a more meaty treatment of the subject from a wider range of characters from a variety of backgrounds who would have been connected to the event. I sincerely hope this is an event we never see come to pass. All in all a good read even if me for me personally I wanted a little more.

Thought Provoking
Day of WrathA very thought provoking book.We in UK have no way of defending ourselves let alone our school and college children. The armed police in the UK are few, fewer in the likes of county towns or small cities. Even those police armed with a tazer would be useless in this situation. The police and the public generally accept that any perpetrator will be unarmed. To get any significant number of police to incidents like would be impossible so the consequences would be horrendous. As police are usually unarmed we are even less able to even try to cope with anything like you portray in your novel. We would I think have to activate the military with full live ammunition and that would take time.I doubt if any schools or other places have any sort of lock down system in place that they could even try to use.Anything along the lines you suggest would also I expect lead to country lock down and possibly even longer term lead to possible financial collapse and that could spread. Martial Law would I fear be the end of it all. There would also be a good chance of war and that could include nuclear war.I appreciate you did not want to write this story but maybe it might wake up the public and hopefully our politicians though I have my doubts. The whole world is heading for a civilisation collapseThe only question is how and when. One point on all of this is that any collapse will mean the collapse of all the support systems like water power food transport and finance and communications.Though how people would be able to look at government internet sites with the internet shut down I don’t know.Immigration and border control will be much stricter possibly with armed guards and lookouts on the coast.Life would never be the same againWe already have private security firms that work with the police, who are seeing their numbers reduce each year. But again private security is not the police, do not have the powers of the police and are not armed as the public are not armed. We in UK are in far worse position than USA to even have any hope of dealing with anything like this. Thanks for waking me up.PS Loved your One Second After and look forward to your One Year After.

Interesting
A good though disturbing read. As fiction it’s jaw dropping at times and sad for characters you liked. Again sad that it ends so suddenly. I get the warning but using fiction to get across a massage damages the fiction, to me anyway. It was a disturbing read which seems to be its purpose. Still it was well written and a good read.

Bleak, chilling and realistic.
Gripping doesn't even begin to describe it. And alas all too realistic if such a thing is possible. I've read most of Forstchen's novels and this one is special. In between the lines you can easily read the disappointment of the writer for the criminal negligence of our respective governments. A must read even if it will shatter your naive thoughts of personal and communal security for ever. But perhaps that's a good thing....

Terrfying
I was watching something on YouTube and this book was mentioned. So I decided to get it. I don't know if anything like this could, or would ever happen, but I hope it never does. It's too terrifying to contemplate.
