Not happy with this purchase. While I can't review the 'water protection' I can say that after only 1 month the 'screen protector' is badly scratched. Yes, I do toss it in my bag with other stuff, but comparing this to my last 'Tempered Glass' protector, No Comparison...that one lasted me over a year without a Single Scratch until I dropped my phone - then it cracked a bunch, but my phone screen survived!I am going back to my old style case (a flexible rubber clear cushion style) and the Tempered Glass Screen Protector.I want to also say that this case is a hard, heavy rubber/plastic that is not at all attractive. It might be as claimed 'rugged resistant' but note that it's also Rugged looking. I felt like I should be wearing a tool belt while using my phone.

It's very bulky, it doesn't feel like it would protect my phone if I dropped it from a considerable height. It feels weird in my hands, and it makes the fingerprint sensor less sensitive and misreads my fingerprint. Will definitely be returning when a new case arrives. It does, however, work with wireless charging.

Love it. I used to have an otterbox just like it with the Samsung Galacy S6, but when I upgraded to the S8 they only had an all black case with green trim. I purchased a clear shockproof case for $40 and a glass screen protector for $50 that literally broke as I was applying it. As soon as I saw this online I knew it was worth a try and I'm so glad I purchased it! I will be returning the other case ASAP.

It blocks the sound from the speaker on the phone. Also you can hear an echo on every phone call and the person on the other line cannot understand because they hear a muffle sound.

This case is a lifesaver! My significant other is a roofer and the tar and “roof goo” stay off the phone with this cover! No more build up in the charger port! Cover allows the phone to still be used 100% as without! I will buy again for myself when I get a new phone!

This case has lasted almost a year with an under 2 year old dropping and using the phone. I had no leaks during the water test and my phone has been submerged once with it and voila no issues.

Best case for the price. Truly water proof and super durable. One downside is it muffled sounds when calling someone. They tend to not hear you well.

I have dropped my new phone with this protector on a couple of times for higher heights (4-5 feet) and have experienced no problems.. Make sure you put "something" to protect your phone!
