Best liquid primer I bought
Definitely for acne prone individuals!! This primer is liquid base means you need a liquid foundation. I use CC cream from dermablend, which is also a liquid. Both product did not break me out and the cc cream was applied smoothly with the primer which created a nice glowy base. There no smell, it was grippy, and it held my cc cream all day. You will break out if you do not double cleanse your face at the end of the day after using your product. So make sure use a cleansing oil and wash it off with your normal cleanser!! But overall this primer didn’t make my liquid cream patchy or dry.Side note: make sure do your face routine! apply your face products/moisturizer before applying make up.

Primer Perfection: My Dry Skin's New BFF!
I'll be real - I've tried my fair share of primers, and most of them have left my dry skin feeling, well, drier. But then I discovered the Dermablend Insta-Grip Jelly Primer, and it's been a total game-changer!This stuff is like a drink of water for my parched skin. It's silicone-free, which is a major win for me, and it's specifically designed for dry skin. The jelly texture is so unique and fun to apply - it's like a cooling gel that just melts into my skin. But what really gets me excited is the performance. This primer makes my makeup last all day (we're talking 24 hours, people!), and it minimizes my pores like a pro. My skin looks smooth, even, and just plain amazing.I've been using this primer for a few weeks now, and I've noticed a significant difference in my skin's overall texture and tone. It's like my skin is finally getting the hydration it needs, and it's thanking me with a radiant glow. So, if you're like me and you've been searching for a primer that actually works for dry skin, look no further. The Dermablend Insta-Grip Jelly Primer is the real deal.P.S. I've already ordered my second bottle - it's that good!

Best primer I've purchased online
As someone who doesn't wear makeup often but when I do I want to use the best, I was pleasantly surprised by this primer. It's silicone-free, which is perfect for my dry skin. I do not need extra things drying me out or caking on. The texture is lightweight and smooth, creating a nice base for makeup without feeling heavy. It also doesn't run in the heat, which is a godsend here in the South. What I appreciate most is that it keeps my makeup in place all day without smearing onto my clothes or my husband. Definitely will keep buying this!

Pros and Cons
Pros: ●It smoothes complexion out, making fine lines less noticeable. It's not magic, so deep wrinkles only soften slightly. ● Didn't cause any skin irritation or breakouts. ● Stays put along with foundation. I use minimal foundation, and not all over. I can apply this to areas without foundation and it works just as well.Cons: ●It is sticky/tacky. Even after drying it feels like there is a light coating on the skin. ●It is difficult to spread/apply *see workarounds below.*I partially solved this by mixing 2/3 moisturizer with 1/3 primer. I only use 1-2 pea size drops of primer. I apply it only in areas that need smoothing or hold for foundation. I use my fingers, but have success with a beauty blender as well. It works well to tap and press with a beauty blender not try to rub it in. I apply a small amount to my upper lip as it actually hides those lines!Bottom line: I will buy it again. Just have to adjust how I use it.I think if you use this on it's own without moisturizer, and use more than I do, you could get a very smooth look, but be prepared to feel as though you have spackle on your face.

It's o.k.
As a primer, this is just o.k. While it is sticky as advertised, I'm not convinced that's a plus.

Beautiful finish on 60+ skin
Performs as well as I'd hoped for! Yes, it's tricky to spread but use quick fingertip action and of course like with all primers...avoid the under eye area.I'd tried it under my much less expensive foundation and is elated to find that it made my cheaper foundation( 2 Face) perform like my $140.00 La Mer foundation!!!This primer is going to pay for itself :) I love La mer but I'm not married to it either lol.Makeup was even and remained moisturized, kept my foundation in place on my allergy nose which I'm constantly dabbing at this time of year.Rub the product together briskly to "melt" it on fingertips and briskly go all over face feathering product around then with finger tips pat all over after applying to blend. Let the primer dry at least a full minute and of course let your moisturizer " rest" a full five minutes before applying any primer. I'm 62 and have norm/dry skin and this performed well for me and didn't make my foundation look heavy at all.

Had to wash off and redo foundation 😒
This was terrible for the price , I have a $5 elf setting spray that makes makeup look better then this (unfortunately it breaks me out) But back to THIS product... I read all the reviews about the texture and stickiness so was prepared for anything but honestly the texture didnt faze me af all. Little hard to spread, little sticky but nothing unmanageable. The problem was how my makeup looked once applied. Not good at all 😬... I have one really deep laugh line that seriously bothers me so my main concern is smoothing that over and this product immediately made it look much worse. Just immediately caked and settled into the line. I tried smoothing it out but just rubbed the makeup off in that area and made it stand out even more. I have better luck with no primer and just my IT cc cream then bother with this $35 primer.
