Concrete Rebound Hammer Tester Resiliometer 1450psi-8702psi (10-60Mpa)

It seriously works as well as the $1500.00 models I've used for 20 years. I immediately calibrated it against a much more expensive one and they read the same. It is built exactly the same and even if it may not last as long (I expect that though it hasn't failed yet) I can purchase 5 of these for the same $$$ as one of the others. I've had to repair every one of the expensive ones.

This $100.00 item saved me from accepting a bad concrete pad. I had a contractor pour a large pole barn pad in the dead of winter with 8f nights against my suggestions to hold off. I was convinced it would not cure correctly and the contractor was saying everything under the moon to claim "it was fine". This shop is housing an automotive lift, needing high PSI ratings (3000psi minimum) and this device showed me extremely low results (500-1500psi) on the new frozen cured pad. I compared this with my other old garage floor and it showed 6000psi so I had solid data to back up my concerns. The contractor then acquiesced it was not to standard once confronted with the data sample and in turn had to rip out the entire slab and re-pour with correct cold weather protection and prep. I highly recommend this as an alternative to core samples and lab testing as that can be extremely cost prohibitive.

I used this to measure the strength of my concrete project. The cement I used is rated 4500 PSI and this measured at 4450 at 30 days. At first I was concerned that the reading was wrong because my garage, driveway and stair steps was measuring at over 6000 psi. I thought it is too high but maybe that is how strong poured concretes are or concrete just continued to gain strength as time passes. So, I started measuring my concrete project and I was able to see the strength develop from day 7 to day 30.

Je l'ai utilisé sur une etudes béton. Les résultats ont été validé ensuite par un bureau d'étude. Pour évaluer la dureté du béton cest pratique. Mais bien sur cela ne remplace pas un BE pour uen étude complète
