Love the roaster, low cost and perfect entry tool for home roasting. I think the people the wrote the bad reviews have an issue with timing the roast and the manufacturer is totally wrong with the 15 minute timer unless you like charcoal, I find very annoying having to reset the timer every time to obtain a perfect roast. This is so far what I use to get a perfect medium roast Ethiopian Yirgachegfee 5.5 minutes Mexican Chiapas 6 minutes Geisha 6.3 minutes Peruvian high altitude 6 minutes Costa Rican Tartarus 6.5 minutes Need to clean every use, glass cleaning just use a soft rag. Collector and mesh use include brush, so far I roasted over 10 pounds of coffee and the machine look like new no staining or nothing and look like will last a long time I still need to play with temperatures but so far with just using the right time is giving an amazing cup of coffee The main issue don’t rosy for that long

I do not recommend this product, it is super basic and not even for homemade. I would describe this as a product still on A/B testing, because I used it 7 times and it just got the fan fried because its plastic, so weird for something that is supposed to be really hot and stand for higher temperatures. I contacted the seller and they agreed to send me a replacement, this one was worst, I used it 5 times and it happened the same. The good part is that Amazon covered me and the seller refunded me the money, but despite of it, I don't recommend this product because it doesn't last. Cheap components, good appearance, but not functional at all.

This is a good roaster to learn and get started with for small batches. Chaff collector does a good job. Roaster seems to be durable as I have done about 15 batches without wear on the machine. No smoke smell but that could be due to me roasting outside. Good temp and time controls. Do wish the power cord was alittle longer. For the price, great roaster! A few things I don’t like.. machine is very loud and very hard to hear the First Crack. Also, no way to tell the bean temperature without doing mods with a thermometer. Needs a pre-heat function

For the price, I can’t complain. Much cheaper than any other air roaster I’ve found that has good reviews. This thing is phenomenal. Roasts 100g of beans in about 8 minutes. You can do more than that, but I stick to little batches. Has a 5 minute cool down so you don’t have to spread them out on a pan to rapidly cool them. What I don’t like: the instructions are absolutely awful. Definitely not written by an English speaker. The off button doesn’t turn it off. You have to unplug it. The buttons are annoying to use - hard to explain. If you use it, you’ll know what I mean. Overall, still satisfied. Hope it lasts a long time

I've owned 2 of the more expensive Fresh Roast SR's. I bought this to replace a fresh roast that broke after 3 months of use. I have to say, this roaster is as good or BETTER than the Fresh Roasts I've owned. Value is great! Its half the price of the SR. Size is good. It holds more beans the the SR. Yes, the fan is loud, but it's comparable to the SR. Very easy to use. Easy to clean. Heat, fan, and time levels are adjustable. I'm loving this roaster.

Pros: - Expensive look and feel, quality materials Cons: - Stops heating after 2 months - If any of the top lids are loose, your coffee will fly out, the air pressure is strong - No memory for settings even if you keep power plugged - Too many coffee beans end up in the catcher lid half baked. No matter the load Not worth it.
